Welcome and find a comfortable seat.
Any place that you can feel a sense of ease and grounding.
If you're comfortable in the earth,
You can come into a cross-legged seat with me here.
Otherwise,
You can sit in a chair or in any other way that you feel comfortable and grounded.
Take your right hand to your heart and your left fingertips onto the earth or reaching toward the earth.
Sit up tall and close your eyes.
Take a generous breath in and a long breath out.
And bring your attention to your left fingertips,
Either reaching for the floor or touching into whatever's beneath you,
The floor,
The earth.
Let your mind drop into that left hand.
Reaching into the earth,
Reaching and feeling into the wisdom of the soil and the billions of years of evolution that is not only beneath us but within us.
And you can even take your mind down through a layer and another layer and more and more layers so you reach as deep down as you can imagine.
Let your breath slow and deepen.
Bass and jaw soft.
Feeling into this incredible remembering of our ancestry,
All the footprints that came before us,
All the digging into the soil,
All that we have nourished from the earth,
All the support,
All the different ways in which we are continually supported.
Just really let your mind drop down through the left fingertips into what is steady and stable and solid beneath you and within you.
Smooth and deep breaths into and out of the nose.
You can shift your attention to your right hand over your heart.
The physical heart itself that pumps and opens and closes.
And also the energetic heart the herd I am feeling into your unique heart rhythm.
As it expands and contract.
Keep smoothing out your breath.
See if you can soften your face,
Your forehead,
Your eyebrows space between the eyebrows.
The circles around the eyes softens it almost feels like the eyes themselves drop down into the heart.
And then from the heart down all the way into the earth.
And then back up into the heart.
And then into the mind just bringing with it a sense of compassion and ease.
Keep reach down and within the pulse of your own life force emanating.
Take a few rounds of deep exhales here,
Giving attention to emptying out the breath.
Before you breathe in again.
And then pulling up that solid and stable and steady of the left hand up to meet the right hand and prayer position of the heart.
A slight bow of the brain to the heart,
A slight lift of the heart to the brain,
A little space between your hands,
As if you were holding something sacred and precious between the left and the right.
A seed of your own intention.
The preciousness of your own life force and the ways in which you want to direct it.
You can take a generous breath in and a long breath out.
One more,
Take a full breath in and a full breath out.
You can bow forward hinge at your hips,
Releasing back toward the earth,
Possibly on it.
Thank you for joining me.
Namaste.
