Softening your cheeks,
Loosening your throat.
This warm gentle wave moves down your arms now,
Heavy and relaxed.
All the way down to your hands and fingertips.
You are safe to let go.
Now this soft wave moves through your chest,
Your ribs,
Your belly,
All the way down into your hips.
Feel your whole lower body soften now.
Your legs,
Your knees,
Your ankles,
All the way to your toes.
Your entire body is held,
Relaxed,
Deeply supported.
Let go just a little bit more.
You don't have to carry anything into your dreams.
As your body continues to relax,
Your mind begins to quiet.
Thoughts may still come and go,
But that's okay.
