Take a deep breath in and slowly let it out through your mouth.

One more time now.

Take a deep breath in,

Hold it and let it out through your mouth.

Feel the weight of your body sinking softly into the bed.

Feel the comfort and warmth of your bed.

Good morning.

Welcome to a brand new day.

This day has never been lived before and it is filled with infinite possibilities.

As you lie here,

Let the stillness of the morning wrap around you like a soft blanket.

Let go of any tension from yesterday,

From your sleep or from your dreams.

There's nothing you need to do right now except be present and breathe gently.

Now place your hands on your stomach.

Feel your breath as it moves in and out,

Calming you.

The gentle rise and fall of your stomach.

Just notice it.

Each breath invites you to wake up a little more slowly and gently.

Now take a moment and whisper to yourself,

I am grateful for this new day.

Everything is always working out for me.

I allow my desires to unfold effortlessly.

Today I walk into situations designed for me.

I am divinely guided and blessed today.

I am enough just as I am.

Let these words wash over you like a gentle wave,

Filling your heart with warmth.

Now let's take a moment to choose a word for today.

This will be your mantra,

Your guide to return to whenever you need a moment of grounding or focus.

Think of a word that resonates with you right now,

Perhaps calm,

Love or anything that shows up.

Once you have chosen your word,

Hold it softly in your mind.

Let it settle into your heart.

Know that throughout the day,

Whenever you need it,

You can come back to this word and it will remind you to be present and just to breathe.

Now slowly begin to move your body.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Stretch out your arms.

Roll your head from side to side.

Feel the aliveness waking up within you.

Take one last deep breath in.

Hold it.

And as you exhale,

Smile.

Smile at yourself.

Smile at the day ahead.

You are ready to rise.

Ready to embrace whatever comes your way.

Carry your word with you as you step into this new day.

You are safe.

You are loved.

And today is yours to create.

Namaste.

Have a beautiful day ahead.

I'll see you tomorrow.

Thank you for the meditation. 🙏 However, I find it problematic to accept the predilection that I am ‘divinely guided’ or that life is somehow designed for my success. Such a notion feels detached from the reality of the world we live in, where suffering and injustice are rampant. How can anyone tell themselves that their path is uniquely guided by anything external other than their highest self when, at the same moment, innocent lives are being destroyed by violence elsewhere in this world? See where it can lead us. This idea seems to fall short of explaining the true complexity and inequity of the world and is also highly unethical.
