Greetings my friends.

Today I share with you Travel for Your Being,

Second episode on Journey the Unknown podcast.

I urge you to travel to your friend.

I urge you to go beyond your limits of fear.

There is a loving intoxication in gently stepping out of your comfort zone just to sense the taste of your limits.

Because my dear friend,

You are born limitless,

Limitless in your being,

Limitless in your essence.

Explore,

Ascuburate in the richness of this world.

I ask you to travel alone,

As only when you find the joyous company within,

You uncover the deepest beauty that lies within you.

Travel for yourself and for everyone else around you.

Travel for your friends,

Family and humanity.

Learn,

Observe,

Create moments of gratitude and then come back,

Share your stories with your friends and neighbours.

Celebrate,

As travel is the greatest teacher of all.

You may find yourself in an uninviting hostel with a hungry stomach in the middle of night.

You may find yourself in a land where no being speaks your language and your fear takes over.

You may find yourself heart broken,

Hand broken and you long for home and familiarity.

In these moments my dear friend,

I urge you to be patient for these moments are teaching you to push for growth.

For these momentary adversities,

These uninvited,

Uncalled for events will teach you so much about your being.

You'll learn to harvest truest compassion,

Surfacing up from within.

You will learn your heart's essence.

You will know yourself in a way you never did.

You'll find meaning in things that you blindly dismissed.

You'll learn to find a gentle solace in these adversities.

You'll figure new ways to comfort yourself and create spaces in your heart for things that you despised earlier.

And when these moments are over,

You'll find true beauty in everything around,

Including yourself.

You'll stand in awe,

Witnessing a sunset from the top of a mountain.

You'll stand still among the chaos of crowds and markets.

You'll observe in and stand in the awe of what a beauty our world presents in every day and every moment,

How we all are moving in unison as one entity in a rhythmic pattern.

For when you travel,

You'll understand how the smallest things can bring the greatest joys.

It's like having a bad day and greeted with an unannounced laughter.

It's the little joy of hot shower after a long train ride and clean sheets after sleeping in the dorms for weeks.

You'll tune yourself to stories of men,

Women,

Children you meet on these journeys.

You'll listen in awe and you'll listen with the intent of listening.

You'll wonder about their lands,

Their cultures and the languages they speak.

You'll thrill in finding new knowledge that these friends offer you.

In these moments,

You will birth new friendships that will last a lifetime.

You will exchange stories,

Jokes,

Love,

Foods,

Your lives,

Your pet peeves,

Your home.

And the world will watch you bloom in these new friendships.

You'll forget your phone and won't remember what time peak or month it is.

For you're falling in love with the experience that is you,

What thrills and encapsulates you in the present moment.

I promise you there will be a series of many firsts.

Your first cliff jumping and your first meal alone or your first hostel stay or your first friend or your first travel affair.

There's a feeling about being on the road in an unknown land.

It can only be experienced and cannot be learned from someone else.

I implore you to travel by yourself dear friend as you'll find parts of you that you'll embrace for the rest of your incredible life.

And as you return home,

You'll find that something has changed in you.

I implore you to travel.

Travel alone because you're bound to find your most certain selves in life's most uncertain places.

Thank you. I recently did my first solo travel and I had a lot of mixed emotions. Now I’m a bit scared to go on my next solo trip in 44 days. Your meditation helped me to feel more calm. I appreciate that and I appreciate you.

Thank you! That was so beautiful and so true. ❤️You are an amazing writer abd clearly write from your heart. The best times of my life have been travelling, whether it was a bike ride across Europe for five weeks with people I didn’t know or the adventure I took 12 years ago to see a famous healer in a Third World town in Brazil, which radically changed my life and my perception on the Divine 🙏. I look forward to the next adventure whenever and wherever that may be.🙏😍🙏

This is wise and wonderful. Sparked memories of former travel, and motivation to travel in my own back yard today. Thank you.

Lovely thoughts, captures that essence of that freedom to explore which changes us. It's ironic to listen to this now, as my travels are tighter in, learning more about my neighbors and community, and self as well.
