10-Day Slow Living Course For Busy Professionals: Less Stress, More Ease

With Kaustubha S

Welcome, dear friend. This course is a gentle invitation to step away from the rush and lean into a slower, softer rhythm of life. It is for people who are constantly busy but rarely feel at ease. In 10 days, you’ll learn how to slow down your pace, quiet mental noise, and create moments of calm in your everyday routine. Together, over the next ten days, we’ll explore simple practices that help us return to presence—breathing a little deeper, noticing a little more, and finding calm in the ordinary moments of our days Each lesson is short and gentle, but each one carries the potential for long-lasting change. With time, these simple practices begin to weave together, creating a life that feels lighter, steadier, and more connected to presence. There’s no rush here. You can move through the sessions at your own rhythm, coming back to them whenever you need a reminder to pause. May this course be both a refuge and a reminder that you don’t have to keep up with the world’s pace. You can soften. You can breathe. And you can return to presence.

Meet your Teacher

Kaustubha is a meditation teacher with over seven years of experience guiding individuals toward greater awareness and inner calm. She has completed two 10-day Vipassana meditation retreats, developing a strong foundation in mindfulness and observation practices. After leaving a full-time corporate career, she chose to pursue a more intentional way of living, focusing on slowing down, reducing unnecessary stress, and creating space for clarity and presence in daily life. Each exercise in this course has been personally practiced and refined through direct experience. Rather than theory, the approach is shaped by lived application, integrating slow and mindful living into everyday routines and consistently experiencing its benefits.

Lesson 2

Slowing Down to the Night

Today, we explore the art of wrapping up the day with grace and mindfulness. In this lesson, we bring softness into the end of your day. Instead of carrying everything with you into the night, you’ll begin to notice what’s ready to be set down: the thoughts, the tension, the quiet weight of the day. Through a simple, grounding practice, you’ll explore what it feels like to unwind with awareness. Nothing forced, nothing complicated. Just a return to stillness, one small moment at a time. Let the day close gently, and see what begins to settle.

Nothing needs to change, just a soft slowing down into what is already here.

Lesson 5

Simplifying our spaces

This lesson gently shifts the way you relate to your space, not by doing more, but by noticing more. What usually feels like a simple task begins to slow down as you bring your attention to each movement, each object, each small decision. As you spend time with one corner of your surroundings, something subtle begins to change, not just outside you, but within. There is a quiet sense of clarity that can emerge when care and awareness meet even the most ordinary moments, inviting a different kind of connection with the space you live in.

Lesson 6

Mindfulness To Digital Spaces

This lesson brings awareness to your relationship with digital use by slowing it down and feeling it directly. Through a simple meditation, you are guided to notice the presence of your phone, the pull of notifications, and the contrast of what it feels like when that noise is absent. In that quiet, you begin to sense the difference between constant input and intentional space, and how your body and mind respond when you step back, even for a moment.

Lesson 7

Mindfulness of Emotions

This lesson brings gentle awareness to the emotions that quietly stay with you in the background. Through a simple writing practice, you are invited to sit with one lingering feeling and meet it with honesty and compassion. Instead of pushing it away, you begin to listen, creating space for understanding, softness, and a deeper connection with what is asking to be seen.
