Now,

Come to a comfortable seated position.

Gently close your eyes.

I'm taking you with me to a journey into the unknown.

We will be taking three deep breaths here.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Two more times now.

Breathe in and let it out.

Breathe in and let it out.

All you need at this moment is you.

There's no past,

No future.

It's just you,

Your being and your breath.

Relax your shoulders.

Gently breathe and let your thoughts pass by.

Observe and let them go.

Now,

Imagine that you're alone,

Hiking in the woods.

You're walking alongside a river and you come across a trail which is leading you to a beautiful,

Lush green mountaintop.

You're curious to know this mountain.

You see the branches of trees,

The sunlight filtering through the trees.

You find stones and gravel on this path.

As you continue to walk,

You find small branches blocking your trail sometimes.

You move them aside and continue walking.

You come to a stop to take a break.

Take a deep breath in.

What do you smell?

How does this trail smell for you?

You observe and start hiking again.

You keep walking.

You observe the weather now.

Is it sunny,

Cloudy?

You keep walking.

You arrive at the base of this tall mountain.

You start climbing up and feel different sensations in your body.

How's your body feeling now?

How's your mind feeling now?

Do you have any thoughts?

You continue to hike up.

It's a steep hike,

So you're pushing yourself up.

Now,

You see a few people returning from their hike.

They look at you and smile.

Someone gives you a thumbs up.

You smile back and continue hiking.

You're almost at the top of the mountain now and four dogs join you.

They like you.

They wag their tails and start following you.

You finally arrive at the top of the mountain.

You see a Buddha statue and there's nobody there.

Just you and the four dogs.

You move towards the edge of the mountain.

In the front,

You see giant layers of lush green mountains.

You look down,

You see a series of tiny roads crisscrossing with tiny cars on them.

What else do you see?

What are the colors of the dogs?

You sit there next to Buddha statue and four dogs join you again.

You close your eyes to feel this moment.

You take a deep breath in and you say something to this beautiful moment out loud.

Now,

You take a deep breath in again and come back from your hike into the present moment.

How do you feel after coming back from this adventure?

You just hiked Little Adam's Peak in Ella,

Sri Lanka.

Take a deep breath in and feel this moment and the senses in your body and the thoughts in your mind.

Straighten up your spine now.

Observe the point of contact,

The touch of your body,

Your hands,

Your spine.

Gently open your eyes when you're ready and start this beautiful day.

Thanks for being a part of the journey.

I'm glad I could take you along with me.

Have a great day.

I'll see you soon.

Namaste.

God bless you.

The woods and rivers are truly my place of peace. Whenever I feel the need to retreat from the world for a spell, it is there I go, whether within or to the actual forest. Thank you for taking me along with you on this beautiful walk, and thank you for inviting the dogs, as well! My words to the path and the mountain were simply "Thank You".
