Hi friends,
This is Katie from Katie Lynn lives and today we're doing a loving kindness visualization practice.
Get into a comfortable position,
Take a big deep breath in through your nose,
Send that air all the way into your belly,
Hold it for just a second and then release everything on your exhale and repeat.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling up that belly,
Holding it there and then when you're ready letting all of that tension go.
Keep breathing like this comfortably at your own pace,
Sending the air in through your nose and into your belly and just take a moment to tune in to how you are feeling right now.
Without judgment,
Just checking in on where you're at.
Wonderful.
Now call in the energy of unconditional love and let it start to pour into you from the crown of your head,
Imagining it as golden light flowing into your crown chakra.
Allow it to fill up your whole being with love,
Feeling it spread from your head down your neck into your shoulders,
Washing down your arms to your fingertips,
Filling up your chest and your torso,
Swirling into your hips,
Those beautiful legs,
All the way down into your feet,
Reaching all the way to the tips of your toes and the soles of your feet,
Filling up your whole body with this sense of warmth and tangliness and pure love.
This love continues to pour into you so much so that it fills up even the space around you,
Creating a beautiful golden light bubble around you,
Encapsulating you and protecting you.
Beautiful.
Now bring to mind somebody that you love and invite them into your golden light bubble.
You may imagine them standing or sitting in front of you and in your mind say to them,
May you be happy,
May you be healthy,
May you be protected,
May you be free from stress and anxiety,
May you be well.
You can even imagine pouring this golden light energy into their body,
Seeing a smile come across their face as they accept and relax into this energy and they turn to you now and they say back to you,
May you be happy,
May you be healthy,
May you be protected,
May you be free from stress and anxiety,
May you be well.
And you receive this love from them and you notice how it feels in your heart and your soul and your body and you see if you can give some of this love to yourself.
Say to yourself,
May I be happy,
May I be healthy,
May I be protected,
May I be free from stress and anxiety,
May I be well.
And just bathe in the energy of this golden loving light,
Feeling it completely surround you.
Amplify this light,
Allow it to start spreading into the space beyond,
Rolling out over the surface of the earth and encountering so many beautiful beings,
Sending people loving kindness everywhere it goes,
To people you know,
People you don't know,
Even people that you have disagreements with,
To animals.
All beings are being blessed with this beautiful golden light energy.
You can imagine how they are changing the smiles that are being brought to them,
Envisioning the whole world being washed over in unconditional love.
Wonderful.
When you are ready to close this meditation,
Keeping your eyes closed,
Start to bring some movement into your body,
Wiggling your fingers and toes,
Maybe moving your hips a little and then slowly flutter open your eyes.
Take one last deep breath and see how the world around you is so beautiful and how you have love for everything.
