You Hello,
Beautiful.
I'm so grateful you're here with me right now.
Close your eyes and take a slow breath in.
And then let it go.
Again,
Breathe in deep,
All the way until you can't breathe in anymore.
And then exhale fully.
Let the cadence of your breath settle.
And allow your forehead to soften.
Your jaw released.
Your shoulders grow heavy and lower.
Your hands,
And your belly a lot.
You ♪ you.

You The End There is a voice many of us know well.
The one that quietly points out what isn't enough.
You should be handling this better.
You shouldn't be so tired.
You used to have more patience.
You used to have so much more energy.
And little by little,
You begin carrying the weight of someone you are no longer meant to be.
You Imagine now that you are walking through a beautiful old garden.
When you haven't visited in years.
The flowers are different than you remember.
The trees have grown taller.
Nothing looks exactly the same.
And yet,
Everything is deeply alive.
You continue walking until you come upon a weathered stone bench.
Covered in moss.
Warm from the afternoon sun.
And you sit.
You you um Across from you,
A magnificent oak tree stretches into the sky.
Its trunk bears the marks of decades.
Its bark is rough.
Its branches twist in unexpected directions.
Nothing has gone wrong.
It is lived.
Storm after storm.
Season after season.
Year after year.
Not once does the tree apologize for growing differently than it once did.
It is not more in the sapling it used to be.
It simply continues becoming exactly what the season asks of it.
Feel that wisdom settling into you.
Your body has changed.
Your emotions have changed.
Your needs have changed.
This is what happens when you live.
Revolve.
Place both hands gently over your heart now.
Feel its quiet rhythm beneath your palms.
Now imagine that every critical thought is a dry autumn leaf resting in your hands.
One by one,
The breeze carries them away.
I should be different.
Breeze carries it away gone.
I should have figured this out.
Over and over again.
Those leaves of criticism.
The sleeves of self-judgment.
Disappear into the wind.
Until all that remains is your heart.
Study.
Still here.
Loving you.
Even when you've forgotten how.
Perhaps today,
Nothing needs to change except the way you speak.
To the woman you've become.
Namaste.
