Good morning beautiful.
This week we're meditating about focus.
Years ago I read a book called,
The One Thing,
By Jay Papasan and Gary Keller.
I've always considered myself pretty good at focusing,
But the concepts in this book really help to transform that skill into a bit of a superpower.
So today I want to share a meditation that will embody the concept of focusing on the one thing that will make the biggest impact for you right now.
The one thing that will make everything else easier or unnecessary.
So you can harness the superpower of pure focus.
So go ahead and settle into a comfortable position and let your body and your mind relax.
Feel the air move gently in and out of your nose.
Notice your chest and belly rising and falling.
And let yourself surrender to the soothing rhythm of your breathing.
In and out.
Rising and falling.
Open and closed.
Breathe.
From here,
This calm place of stillness.
See if you can see clearly into the depths of your heart and find it.
The one thing.
The one thing that will make everything else in your life easier or unnecessary.
The one thing that,
By accomplishing it,
Will shift everything for you.
This could be the one thing within the timeframe of today.
Or this could be the one thing within the timeframe of the next few years.
Just see what comes up.
Perhaps you know the answer right away.
Or perhaps you're a little unsure of the answer that you think it is.
Or maybe you're sitting here a little confused on what's there for you.
It's all okay.
Just make a decision and let's continue.
You can always do this meditation again if your one thing changes or becomes more clear for you.
Picture it in your mind.
This one thing.
Perhaps it has something to do with your physical or mental health.
Maybe it's a business or a financial goal.
Perhaps it has something to do with your relationships.
Whatever it is,
Just imagine it there in front of you.
A goal.
A vision.
A desire for something different that will inspire you along your evolution to achieve it.
What does your life look like when you've achieved this one thing?
Who do you have to become in the process?
What does it mean for you to achieve this?
Focus on the answers that come up.
Let them dance around you.
Excite you.
Energize you.
Now keep your attention on your one thing,
Bringing it deep into your focus.
Seeing its story with clarity as everything else around it dissolves.
Hold it here and see if you can feel the clarity that it brings to the day ahead.
The clarity it brings to your priorities.
The clarity it brings to where you're spending your time and energy.
Let that clarity guide you as you keep your focus on that one thing.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
