Nestle into the comfort of your bed and let your head sink into your pillow.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in,

Filling your body with calm,

And then breathe out slowly,

Releasing any heaviness from the day.

Notice your shoulders relaxing.

Notice your arms getting heavier and your belly softening.

And feel your legs sink deeper into the sheets.

Now,

Imagine a wooden bridge stretching across the night.

Its planks glow with a soft,

Silver light,

As though the moon herself is guiding your way.

The rails curve gently on either side,

Inviting you to step forward.

You place your foot on the first plank,

And it feels cool and steady beneath you.

And as you breathe out,

Your body relaxes a little more.

Step by step,

Breath by breath,

You move across the bridge,

Each step releasing more tension,

Each step bringing more calm.

Beneath you,

A quiet stream flows.

Its water reflects the stars above,

Rippling gently in the moonlight.

The water flows forward,

And the ripples spread wide.

You feel yourself in the rhythm of the stream,

Calm and steady and at peace.

Fireflies gather along the railing,

Their golden light flickering softly.

They guide your steps,

Reminding you that you are safe,

That you are held.

Halfway across,

You pause to rest your hands on the rail.

Looking down at the stream below,

You can see your thoughts drifting away.

Each one floats like a leaf on the water,

Carried gently downstream,

Farther and farther away,

Until all that remains is stillness.

When you're ready,

You continue walking to the far end of the bridge.

It's glowing warmly,

A promise of peace waiting for you.

Step by step,

Breath by breath,

You arrive.

The bridge opens into a meadow,

And the grass shimmers with dew.

The night sky stretches wide above you.

The stars are welcoming you.

You find a soft place to rest,

And you lie down in the meadow.

The earth cradles you,

And the stars shine above you.

The fireflies hover gently,

As if to protect your dreams.

The stream sings quietly in the distance,

And the bridge closed softly behind you.

You are calm,

And you are at home.
