
Loving Kindness To Mother Earth

This is meditation to send your love and light to Mother Earth, to heal yourself, and to heal the planet. You will relax your body, connect with yourself and share your love with all the creatures and our planet. Happy Earth day! Meditate with me on April 22 and every day throughout the year.
Transcript
You connect to your body by noticing different feelings and sensations that are happening there.
You remind yourself that there are sounds from the outside that are guiding you in your meditation.
If you hear a loud noise,
It's a reminder to bring your attention back inside yourself.
If you notice yourself taking part in your thoughts,
It's a reminder to bring your attention back inside yourself and to focus within the body.
I will guide you through a short body scan just to connect to every part of the body and then we will connect to our breathing and to the planet.
Allow yourself to inhale into the top of your head,
And feel into the top of your head how you are being connected to all the sensations in the spots where the hair is growing.
And you observe what is happening on your forehead and your eyebrows.
You slightly open your eyelashes for the light to come inside but you don't see anything.
You notice what are the sensations on your nose.
Is it cold or warm?
Are there any vibrations?
You notice what are the sensations on your cheeks,
Your lips,
Your chin.
You notice your whole face,
How light it is when you allow yourself to decompress the contractions,
To let it be for just a couple of moments without expressing anything but being.
Bring your attention to the back of your head and again scan the back of your head noticing what is happening inside you,
Noticing the uncomfortable feelings and allowing them to be along with the comfortable accepting the duality of being,
Bringing your attention down into your neck,
Observing the sensations in your neck,
Bringing your attention into your chest,
Is it expanded or contracted,
Is it warm or cold,
What other sensations are there in your chest,
Is it the sensation of the body,
Is it the sensation of the body,
Is it the sensation of the body,
What other sensations are there in your chest,
Bringing your attention down into your stomach,
Is it relaxed or tense,
Your task is only to notice,
What are the sensations in your right shoulder?
Observe them gently as if you're touching your right shoulder with your attention,
What are the sensations in your left shoulder?
Observe them gently as if you're touching your left shoulder with your attention,
And now go down to the middle of your back to your lower back,
Saying hello to your back,
Noticing your attention goes down to your buttocks,
To where you touch the seat,
Observing your hips,
Your thighs,
Down to your knees,
Your calves,
Your ankles and your feet,
And it's as if you have touched your whole body with your attention,
If you need to slightly change your position,
Allow yourself to adjust,
And continue observing your beautiful body,
Your tool for being alive,
For manifesting all of your wishes,
And for observing reality as it is.
One more time you scan all the sensations inside your body,
This time starting from your toes,
And then you can start to notice your attention,
One more time you scan all the sensations inside your body,
This time starting from your toes,
Going up to your knees,
Your hips,
Your stomach and your chest,
This time you pay attention to the tips of your fingers,
And up at your wrists,
Your forearms and elbows,
And then up along your arms to your shoulders,
Again noticing your neck,
Your face,
And up to the top of your head,
And when you have given this attention to your body,
It's becoming more sensitive and at the same time lighter,
Almost weightless,
And at the same time there are no clear boundaries between your body and the outer space,
You notice yourself merging with the space around you,
In reality you were never separated,
You were always one,
And I invite you to visualize a bright sun above your head,
One meter above your head,
And inhale your breath,
And then you can start to notice your attention,
And then you can start to notice the sun above your head,
One meter above your head,
And inhale the brightness through the top of your head,
Your third eye,
Your throat,
And into your heart,
Holding your breath in your heart,
Seeing how your heart is being filled with light,
And then exhale down into your stomach,
Your lower stomach,
Your pelvic floor,
Your feet,
And into the center of the earth,
Visualizing red cords at the bottom of your feet connecting you to the planet,
Connecting you to the center of the earth,
You can make an intention that all energy that doesn't serve you leaves your body,
Thanking our planet for transmuting,
Thanking ourselves for creating space,
One more time you inhale from the bright sun above your head through the top of your head,
Your third eye,
Your throat,
And into your heart,
And you hold your breath inside your heart,
Inside your heart,
And then you exhale down into your stomach,
Your lower stomach,
Your pelvic floor,
Your feet,
And into the center of the earth,
And like this your body is turning into a string of light that connects the sky and the earth,
Almost liquid,
Almost weightless,
You are sitting here absolutely connected to the sky and the earth,
Into the space around you,
And you can imagine yourself in a beautiful natural space,
It may be your safe space,
A place in nature where you like to go,
Or a place you have visited before,
And it would be great if you could see a wide open horizon in front of you,
You are alone in this space but you're not lonely,
You may be on top of a mountain or in a desert or in a field or by the seaside,
Anywhere that resonates with you the most,
And you see the horizon is so wide open that you feel the expansion of yourself as well,
The space around you is wide and you are widely expanding into this space,
Merging with the nature around you and sharing the silence of your heart is this beautiful nature,
And now I invite you to visualize bright white light inside your heart,
And inhale into this light and as you exhale you see it expand into every direction,
Covering the space around you,
And you send this light to all the beings on our planet,
Sending love,
Compassion,
And kindness to all the living beings,
May all those beings who live in the water be happy,
May all those beings who live on land be happy,
May all those beings who live in the air be happy,
May all those beings who live in the air be happy,
May all those beings who live underground be happy,
May all the beings be free from suffering,
May we thrive as we co-exist together as an enlightened civilization,
May our planet be free from suffering,
And you feel this light inside your heart and every time you exhale you breathe this light around you all the way up to the horizon,
Shining your light on all the living beings,
On all the creatures of planet earth,
Sending love and kindness to plants,
To animals,
To mushrooms,
Sending love and kindness to algae,
To bacteria and viruses,
Sending love and light to all human beings,
Sending love to all the humans who are open to receiving it,
And sending love to all humans who have transitioned and are looking for their way home.
And now you visualize that your shiny heart is connected with a golden cord to the heart of mother earth,
And you send your love directly to our planet,
To mother earth,
To mother earth,
May you be happy,
May you be free from suffering,
Thank you for my life,
Thank you for the abundance of gifts,
And now it's a moment to think about everything that you are thankful for,
That mother earth has given you.
Allow yourself to imagine the images of gratitude in your heart and allow this gratitude to overflow your body,
Noticing all the gifts the planet has presented you,
Just like earlier on you were noticing all the life that is happening inside your body,
Thank you for the water,
For the air,
For the earth,
For the fire,
For our homes,
For our ways to express creativity,
For the plants and animals that feed us,
For the trees we can hug,
For our morning tea and coffee,
For the blooming flowers,
For all the resources that we get from your depth,
And for all the lessons that we learn by living here on your surface,
Thank you beautiful mother earth,
And you see golden and white light that is flowing from your heart directly to the heart of mother earth and you feel your body is so expanded and overflown with gratitude and love,
Thank you for this practice,
Thank you for sharing your love and kindness to our planet and all the kingdoms of all the beings and for holding this vision of the greater good,
I invite you to bring your attention to your physical body inside your heart,
Inside your stomach,
Maybe you want to move your fingers or toes and inhale deeper so that you reconnect with the outer space and you notice your body and whenever you are ready you start to slowly open your eyes come back to the surface connecting back with your senses to the outer space,
