This meditation will focus on your second chakra,
Your svaristhana,
Or the seat of the soul.
For this meditation,
Find yourself in a comfortable position where you're seated or lying down.
When you find yourself there,
Allow the eyes to close or have a light gaze on the floor.
Notice any tension or sensations that are lingering within the mind and body.
Start to let that go with each breath.
Come back to your home.
Come back to this moment.
On your next inhale,
Fill up the belly,
Expanding it like a balloon,
Bringing in fresh prana.
Pause at the very top,
And then as you exhale,
Let the body soften.
Let the breath turn and breathe in again,
Filling up the belly,
Expanding the chest as you bring in all the prana and vitality that is here for you now.
Pause at the top,
And as you exhale,
Let the mind soften,
Letting go of anything that's not here and now.
You can let the breath come back to a normal pace,
Noticing its natural ebb and flow,
Getting lost in its rhythm.
For this meditation,
I also invite you to move,
To have subtle movements,
Especially within the hip and belly region.
Notice the natural ebb and flow or sponda that lives in the body.
Start to bring all your awareness to your second chakra,
Right below the navel,
The svaristhana,
The seat of the soul.
This is our chakra of creativity,
Sensuality,
Self-expression,
And it's incredibly potent for women.
As you continue to sway,
Start to breathe in the color orange like the setting sun into this second chakra.
Feel this color vibrating and spreading throughout the hips,
The lower belly,
Feeling its energy and as you keep your awareness here on the body,
Start to affirm,
I am a creative,
Sensual,
Powerful being.
I am learning how to dance with life,
To express myself freely.
I release all the places where I feel repressed,
All the fears that have stopped me from carrying out my truth,
My beauty,
And my natural artist.
I breathe in vitality and radiance.
I breathe in fluidity and the ability to bring in all that I wish to receive in this lifetime and to be in the dance of everything that arises.
I release any sexual frustrations,
Any feelings of not enough,
Any fears of not wanting to be too bright.
And I breathe in my power,
My confidence,
My ability to show up and to shine and to bloom because that's what's needed.
As you continue to breathe and focus on this Vajrastana,
Again I invite you to move and to feel the power that lives here.
As women,
This is one of our greatest untapped resources.
Don't be afraid to move and to express yourself here and now and to affirm to your mind,
Body,
And spirit that you're ready to awaken the divinity that lives within,
The artist,
The poet,
The muse that is within you.
And to complete this meditation,
Allow the movement to come back to stillness.
Study the breath and close down this chakra just enough.
And I encourage you to take on your day in a way that is sensual,
Creative,
And true to who you really are.
Thank you for joining me.
