Welcome.

This is a short tapping exercise on letting go so that you can embrace and strengthen your own self-trust.

We'll start by taking a slow deep breath in and let it go.

Let's start tapping on the side of the hand underneath the pinky and repeat after me.

Even though I feel attached to the past,

I would like to be open to letting it go.

Even though it feels hard to let go,

It's okay that I feel this way and I trust that I can move through this.

Even though I feel tightness in my body when I think about letting go,

I am cultivating safety in my body now.

Top of head.

I feel attached to the past.

Eyebrow point.

I feel a contraction in my body.

Side of the eye.

I feel tightness in my throat.

Under the eye.

It feels hard to let go.

Under the nose.

I feel attached to past hurts.

Chin point.

I feel this tightness in my chest.

Collarbone.

It feels impossible to let go of the past.

Under the arm.

My body is telling me no.

Wrist point.

I feel a constriction in my throat.

Side of the hand.

It feels too hard to let go of this.

Top of head.

I'm worried that I cannot let go of the past.

Eyebrow point.

My body is telling me no.

Side of the eye.

I feel tightness in my throat when I think about letting go of this.

Under the eye.

I'm worried I won't be able to let go.

Under the nose.

I feel attached to past hurts.

Chin point.

I feel this tightness weighing down on my chest.

Collarbone.

It feels impossible to let go.

Under the arm.

My body is telling me no.

Wrist point.

I'm worried I won't be able to let go of this.

Side of the hand.

It feels too hard to let go.

Let's pause tapping.

Take a slow deep breath in and let it go.

Let's do one more round of tapping.

Recognizing the challenge that you're facing while including some affirmations to move forward.

Starting at the top of the head.

I still feel attached to the past.

Eyebrow.

It's okay that I feel this way.

Side of the eye.

I feel so much constriction in my throat.

Under the eye.

I am cultivating safety in my body now.

Under the nose.

It feels impossible to let go of the past.

Chin point.

I am open to having a new perspective around this.

Collarbone.

I feel attached to the past.

Under the arm.

I choose to trust my path moving forward.

Wrist point.

I'm worried that I cannot let go of this.

Side of the hand.

I choose to trust in divine timing for my healing.

Pause tapping.

Take a slow deep breath in and let it go.

You are always letting go.

You are capable of letting go of the past and you can lean on support and trust in the universe,

God or spirit,

To guide you to move forward.

And I trust that this practice will continue to guide your healing and to release the parts of your past that are no longer serving you.

And you may wish to return to this practice so that it becomes easier when you think about the past and move forward with more trust in yourself.

Sending you so much love and take care.
