We can easily get distracted by our own mind. Thoughts can be overwhelming, particularly when we have something important to decide or consider. This meditation will help bring you back to your inner wisdom. That place where your intuition lives. To help quieten those interfering thoughts so you can reconnect with your intuition.

Get yourself into a seated posture that feels comfortable and intentional.

We want to have a dignified posture when we meditate.

So if your feet are on the floor,

If you're sitting on a chair,

Or maybe you're cross-legged,

Just wriggle around and get comfy before we start.

So gently closing the eyes if that feels okay.

You could also just lower your gaze,

Soften the gaze,

And at any time during this practice,

If you feel the need to open your eyes,

That's absolutely fine.

You can always return to closed eyes when that feels okay to do.

So let's just take a moment here to settle into this space.

Whatever you've been doing up to now,

Just let that go.

Intentionally set it aside in your mind and really come into this present moment with your body.

So whatever this means to you,

Returning home,

Coming back to yourself,

Take a few moments to really feel into your body and just notice where your awareness is drawing you in the body.

Maybe there's some areas of tension or tightness that you're being drawn to.

Maybe there's some tingling,

Fizzing.

Maybe you can feel some heat or areas of coolness.

Take this as an opportunity to just notice what's here already and just really allow it to be here.

We don't need to try and change anything or resist anything.

Simply allowing these sensations to be here.

You might notice your mind is busy,

And if it is,

That's fine,

Without forcing or trying to push away thoughts.

Just allow it to wear away in the background of your awareness.

So bringing any attention to the foreground of your awareness being that of the body and physical sensations in the body.

And know that at any time you can return to the body if the mind wanders off and gets lost in thought.

We can do this as many times as we need to in a practice.

Now,

Gently bring your awareness to the place in your body that you feel intuition lives.

A place where you have deep knowing and innate wisdom.

And just notice where you're naturally drawn with this invitation.

And if it's not clear to you,

That's also fine.

You might like to just notice in the body where it feels safe,

Comfortable,

And calm.

And just lay your awareness gently there.

So wherever this is in the body,

Just noticing the sensations of this place.

Noticing the characteristics of this place.

And just allow yourself to reside in this place.

There's nothing to do,

Nothing to force or fix,

Simply to be.

And returning your awareness to this place every time your mind takes you off with a thought,

With compassion,

With kindness.

So,

As you stay connected with your intuition,

You might like to ask it if there's anything it wants to say to you,

And really just give it some space to answer.

And if no answer comes,

Know that you can revisit this place anytime and see if something emerges without force or expectation.

And then if there's anything you would like to say to your intuition,

This place is always inside you and you can always connect with it and return to stillness when you need its guidance.

So,

We'll gently bring this practice to a close,

And returning your awareness to that feeling of the connection with you in the chair and hearing any sounds that you can hear.

Noticing where you are in the room before gently opening the eyes in your own time,

There's no rush.
