Welcome to this centered in love meditation.

I invite you to settle in finding a comfortable seat and just gently closing the eyes and relax and soften the body the breath and the mind as if you are turning down the volume or seeing yourself through a soft focused lens and begin to lean into this moment this present moment right here and right now.

The mystic Kahil Gibran said,

Wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving.

So let's give our hearts wings and find gratitude for this day for another day of loving.

In the Vedic tradition there are many words that are used for love called Bhav or the feelings and expressions of love in all of its many forms.

From the time we are born from love to the time we return to love we have our being in love.

We experience a parental love,

A mothering love,

We experience sibling love,

The love of our friends and romantic and intimate love and as we expand our capacity and maturity for love we move closer and closer to the benevolent love of all life of all that is and we come to know the divine as pure and undiluted love and ultimately one of the highest expressions of love is the self-realization of love realizing that we are love.

I am love.

I am love.

Breathe that in breathing that in deeply to the center of your heart.

I am love.

Allow the heart center to expand and open while you say gently to yourself in the voice of your mind I am love.

I am love.

And notice the shift in the body the freedom of the breath I am love.

The opening of the heart center saying to yourself in the voice of your mind I am love.

And it is in this universal truth that we open the aperture of our hearts and using this open lens of love we are able to see all of the expressions of love.

Take a deep breath in and out and stretch the wings of your heart wide open.

I am.

You are.

We are.

All is love and so it is.

Svaha.
