Today we'll explore what it means to feel worthy,
Without having to earn it,
Prove it,
Or fight for it.
Before we begin,
Take a moment to get still.
Find a comfortable seat,
Or lie down if that feels better.
Let your eyes soften or close.
We'll take three audible breaths together,
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Let the exhale be full and open.
This kind of breathing helps calm the nervous system,
And signals to the body,
You're safe,
You're here,
You can let go.
Inhale,
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth,
Again inhale,
And exhale.
One more breath in,
And let it go.
From this quiet place,
I offer you these words.
Dear Higher Power,
There are parts of me that still question if I deserve goodness,
If I'm allowed to take up space,
Rest,
Or receive love without earning it,
But today I want to believe that I am worthy.
Worthy of healing.
Worthy of joy.
Worthy of care,
Just as I am.
I don't need to be perfect to be enough.
I don't need to shrink to be accepted.
I don't need to hustle to belong.
Help me unlearn the lie that I have to prove myself.
Help me stand in my worth,
Even when I feel shaky.
Help me speak to myself with the same reverence I give to others.
Let worthiness become my resting place.
I leave this in your hands.
