Before we begin,
Take a moment to get still.
Find a comfortable seat or lie down if that feels better.
Allow your eyes to soften or close.
We'll take three audible breaths together,
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Allow the exhale to be full and open.
This kind of breathing helps calm the nervous system and signals to the body,
You're safe,
You're here.
Remember,
You can let go.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Again,
Inhale and exhale.
One more breath in,
And let it go.
From this quiet place,
I offer you these words.
Dear Higher Power,
I don't have all the answers.
I don't know where this path is leading,
But today,
I want to trust the process.
I want to trust that healing is happening,
Even when it's quiet,
Even when it's slow,
Even when it doesn't look like I thought it would.
Help me trust the timing of things.
Help me trust that it's okay not to rush.
Help me trust that I am not behind.
If doubt creeps in,
Allow me to return to my breath.
If fear gets loud,
Remind me I'm not alone.
If I forget,
Gently guide me back.
I trust that there is a wisdom unfolding,
Beyond what I can see or plan or predict.
And I trust that you are with me in all of it.
