Before we begin,
Take a moment to get still.
Find a comfortable seat or lie down if that feels better.
We'll take three audible breaths together.
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Let the exhale be full and open.
This kind of breathing helps calm the nervous system and signals to the body,
You're safe.
You're here.
You can let go.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Again,
Inhale and exhale.
One more breath in and let it go.
Now,
From this quiet place,
I offer you these words.
Dear Higher Power,
I don't know what to do next.
I don't know what's right or real or true today.
But I want to learn how to listen.
Show me the next right thing.
Not the whole plan.
Just one small step.
One breath.
One choice.
One gentle nudge in the right direction.
Help me hear your voice through the noise of my fear.
Help me trust the quiet knowing that rises when I slow down.
Help me pause long enough to notice what I usually rush past.
If guidance shows up in someone's words,
Or in a song,
Or in my own gut,
Allow me to recognize it.
If I feel lost,
Remind me that it's okay.
Sometimes the path reveals itself only after I begin walking.
Walk with me.
Whisper to me.
Show me that I'm not alone in the not knowing.
I leave this in your hands.
