Just lift your eyes a little bit above the field of vision and close them.
Take a few deep breaths.
Visualize the number three three times.
And the number two three times.
And the number one three times.
Let the muscles of your face,
Your head relax.
Your arms fold softly at your side.
Your feet flat.
And just for the space of time,
Concentrate on nothing but the sound of my voice.
And come with me for a few moments on this little journey.
I'd like you to visualize yourself walking on a beach.
Your feet softly hitting the warm water.
And watching as you're walking to see how fast those footprints wash from the sea.
Life is but a flash of time,
A wink of an eye.
Like our footprints as we walk on the water.
Sun is setting.
It's about to go underneath to the other part of the world and shine there.
Find a seat someplace on the water's edge in the warm sand.
And watch the water as the ripples show the reflection of the moon.
Watch the ripples slowly,
Slowly pass the light of the full moon.
Until it's flat and you see the reflection of the moon on the water.
The moon that controls the tides,
The waving of the sea and all that is in it.
The moon is governed by the letter Tuff,
Which is the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
It is also a powerful tool to allow us sway over our emotions.
Take the tuff again,
If you cannot see the letter,
Just visualize a blue light and spin it in a clockwise fashion and let it enter through your heart.
Have it enter into your being and feel it extend through your body,
Down from the heart into the feet and come back up into the arms and throughout the body.
The energy of the moon seeks so much to be loved,
To be cared about.
The presence of its home in the sky and always yearns to be more and more a vessel for light.
For you and I are representative of the moon.
The only light that we receive is that of shared actions,
Of that for which we care.
The moon is the ability to give.
For without the capacity to give love,
We cannot receive love.
But first and foremost,
We must know and appreciate ourselves.
And so through the tuff,
And especially in this month,
We need to take heed of our emotions and of who we are and where we want to go.
Through the assistance of this blue light,
Of this calming energy,
We can go closer to our goal of understanding why we are here and what our process is.
The Khet,
Which is an interesting letter for the month of cancer,
And its constellation,
The crab.
You know,
A crab walks sideways,
But yet when it comes time for them to go from one part of the sea to the other,
They simply join a string and they walk across the bottom of the ocean together.
And even though the crab walks sideways,
It still knows that to get to the other side of the sea,
You need to have the support of the many.
And that's an important lesson for this month.
We,
You and I,
Will need support this month.
We will need that hand that says,
Yes you can.
And we also need to be the hand that says,
Yes you can.
For the Khet is not in itself capable of allowing you to rise,
But only via the energy of the candle,
The light inside,
Do we get there.
And so,
Let's take a walk again to the sea.
Listen to the sound of the waves.
Feel the healing effects of the clean water,
The pure air,
And the smell of the sea.
It is the water of cancer.
It is the place that the baby dwells in the womb of its mother.
It is the water that surrounds this life and gives it life.
It is the water in us that is most of us that makes us who we are.
We need to apply that for ourselves and for that which surrounds us.
And so,
As we sit for this moment,
And just breathe and smell the smell of the sea as the waves hit lovingly and gently against the shore.
For without the water,
There is no life.
It is the seating ground for all existence.
Again,
We will count from one to five.
And at five,
To awake,
To be more cognizant of that which is around us,
That which is inside of us,
And that which is deep,
Deep in the belly of the sea and all that surrounds it.
One,
Two,
A few deep breaths,
Three,
Four,
And five.
Thank you and Holy Stuff.
