Begin by getting into a comfortable position,
Either seated or laying down.
When you are comfortable,
Begin to slow the breath,
Letting your body settle into the earth beneath you.
As you take your next inhale,
Lift the shoulders up to the ears,
Holding for a moment before you exhale.
On the exhale,
Drop your shoulders and exhale with force.
We will do this three more times.
Inhale,
Lifting the shoulders up to the ears.
Hold the breath for a moment.
Exhale with force.
Inhale lifting the shoulders.
Hold the breath.
And exhale.
Notice your body and mind relaxing,
Releasing all tension.
Inhale,
Lifting the shoulders,
Hold the breath,
And exhale,
Dropping the shoulders back down.
Now find your natural rhythm of breath.
Let your lungs take over.
Turn the thinking mind off.
This meditation will help you to clear negative self-talk and detach from the ego which may be holding you back from stepping into your fullest potential.
The ego is nothing more than an illusion.
It is our minds identity of our construction.
When we have thoughts about ourselves that the mind agrees with,
We formulate a self-image.
But we are so much more than our minds and our wandering thoughts.
Continue breathing deeply,
Drifting into a deeper state of relaxation with each breath.
Begin to reflect upon the way you have spoken to yourself so far today.
Be non-judgmental while doing this.
Really become aware of your inner dialogue.
Alone.
If the self-talk has been positive or negative.
These conversations can be either destructive or beneficial.
Influencing how you feel as well as how you react and respond to people and situations.
Becoming aware of this inner dialogue enables you to let go of negative beliefs and step into your fullest potential.
As you breathe deeply,
Bring your awareness to your heart and the energy radiating from it.
Envision a ball of white light expanding outward from your heart.
With each breath,
This ball of white light grows until it completely surrounds you.
Cleansing you of your old beliefs.
Healing all emotional wounds.
Leaving you with a blank slate.
As the ball of white light dissipates around you,
Notice a sense of lightness and purity wash over you.
Continue breathing slow and steady as your body and mind soften.
Bask in this feeling of purity.
In this space of renewal,
We will plant new beliefs into the body,
Mind and soul.
Setting the foundation for greatness.
Today I choose me.
I am grounded,
Peaceful and centered.
I am worthy of infinite compassion.
I approve of myself.
I love myself deeply and fully.
I have everything I need within myself.
I radiate peace,
Love and happiness.
I honor my inner voice.
I trust my body's natural wisdom.
My life is a place of happiness and love.
Continue breathing deeply as these affirmations marinate within your being.
Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.
