Kara Looney

Kara Looney is a dedicated yoga and meditation teacher, sound healing facilitator, Vedic astrologer, and retreat host specializing in health, balance, and sustainable living. She has led mindfulness programs for organizations including Kaiser Permanente, Montana State University, Loyola Marymount University, Aya Healthcare, ServiceNow Global, and Clear Behavioral Health. Her work bridges practical science and expansive consciousness through ancient yogic wisdom, guiding students to access creative flow, strengthen the nervous system, and cultivate present-moment awareness. Kara teaches Kundalini Yoga and Vinyasa Flow both virtually and in-studio, and leads 40-day meditation journeys that support consistent daily practice. She also teaches at Montana State University and is the founder of Coliberation Wellness, a company that brings yoga, meditation, and sound healing to hospitals, addiction recovery centers, and mental health facilities. With over 1,000 hours of training in yoga, meditation, and sound healing, a BA in Psychology, and study in Vedic astrology under the lineage of Sage Parashara, Kara offers a wide range of practices including breathwork, mantra, and sound healing. Her work is designed to restore balance, elevate energy, and support meaningful transformation. She resides between Los Angeles, CA and Bozeman, MT.
