Hello,
This is Kambiz Nafisi,
Spiritual guide.
Today I'll be speaking to you about taking good care of your day,
Taking good care of your moments,
Like an artist,
So that the sum of your moments build up to a beautiful life.
You see,
In nature there's no such thing as yesterday or the day after tomorrow.
The only thing we have to work with is this moment,
As this moment slips into the next moment.
So if you take beautiful care of this moment,
This moment gives way to the next better moment,
And that way you'll build up a glorious life.
Each moment has different needs,
And it requires different things,
Demands different things from you.
Imagine how a birthday party,
A funeral,
And a wedding demand different things from you.
So if you were to take good,
Loving care of any of those circumstances,
You would first have to be mindful enough to gauge and see what each of these moments are demanding from you,
And then you can step into the moment and take good care of whatever the circumstance is presenting you with.
Now,
I'm going to teach you some techniques in terms of how to be more mindful,
How to be more present,
So you can take loving care of your days and your moments.
Firstly,
Before you leave the bed first thing in the morning,
Make a vow in your heart that you want to take very good care of today.
Next,
Get into the habit of touching your fingertips.
Every time you touch your fingertips,
That's a physical reminder to yourself that you're going to be present and you're going to be mindful.
After you touch your fingertips,
Bring the attention to the bridge between your two nostrils and mindfully take three inhalations and three exhalations.
That'll land you precisely in this moment where you can gauge the needs of the moment.
Next,
Once in a while,
Step out of the day,
Sit down,
Stare at a plain surface like a white wall,
And imagine that that plain surface or white wall is the movie screen of your busy mind.
As you stare at that wall thinking this is the movie screen of your mind,
I want you to eagerly wait and wait to see what the next thought is going to be.
As long as you're eagerly waiting for the next thought to arrive,
The next thought will never arrive.
That's because the one who's waiting is your mindful self.
That is the quiet observer within your being who knows exactly how to take the best loving care of each moment.
I wish you the best life.
Godspeed.
Employ these techniques,
And as you take loving care of each moment,
Those moments will come together and build a glorious life.
