Hello and welcome to this short grounding meditation.
I'm Casey Sage and I'm honored to have you practice with me today.
Take a moment to get comfortable,
Rooting your seat into the surface beneath you,
Gently reaching the crown of your head toward the sky without straining in any way.
Close your eyes and place your hands on your belly and feel it fill and rise as you take a slow,
Deep inhale and slowly let it all out.
Take a few more breaths like this,
Following a rhythm that feels natural and easy,
Relaxed and slow,
Allowing each breath to anchor you fully into your body and into the present moment.
On your next exhale,
Feel your breath push energetic roots through the base of your spine and into the earth beneath you,
Still breathing deeply and slowly.
On your inhales,
Feel yourself pull energy up from the earth,
All the way up your central channel in your spine,
Briefly pausing at the top of your head.
On your exhales,
Feel that root system spread deeper and wider toward the core of the earth,
Feeling yourself get a little heavier.
Your center of gravity dropping a little lower with each breath.
Feel the loving tug of gravity pull you gently toward the earth,
Anchoring you here,
Rooting you here.
This body,
This earth,
Your loving home that holds you.
Feel how comforting it is to be held here,
Through the natural ebb and flow of life's rhythm,
In the day and in the night,
Through the summer and the winter,
Feast and famine,
Trial and triumph.
This loving embrace is always here for you,
As a place to return,
To find solace,
To feel,
To release,
To lean on,
To express,
To simply be in your fullness.
Place your hands on your heart and pull that energy up from the earth into this space.
Let it fill you and comfort you,
Feeling the warmth of love expand throughout your being.
Returning to a normal breath now,
And when you're ready,
Slowly opening your eyes.
