Dear soul.
I'm Kasey Sage and I'd like to welcome you to this short four-minute transitional meditation.
Intended to be used to shift from one daily task to the next,
This simple mindfulness practice can help us keep a grounded perspective and can increase presence throughout the day.
Let's begin.
Close your eyes and take a moment to center yourself into your physical body.
Step into the seat of awareness and notice your breath and how it feels passing through your nostrils.
Notice how your chest expands with each inhale and gently falls with each exhale.
Notice the beat of your heart always lovingly pumping your vessel alive.
Feel the aliveness in your being.
You are the awareness that experiences these sensations.
You are Source Consciousness whose awareness is currently centered in an experience called human.
We are not always in control of the happenings around us,
But we are always in control of our perspective,
Outlook and reaction.
We get the beautiful opportunity to choose how we move about our days.
So who do you want to show up as in your life?
Now notice if there's tension anywhere in your body.
Relax into it and release any energy of resistance that you may be carrying.
Let's take three cleansing breaths now.
Breathing in pure energy on the inhale and on the exhale,
Releasing any stagnant energy you may have accumulated throughout your day so far.
Inhale pure energy.
Exhale and release what no longer serves you.
Again.
Once more.
Now,
For the most important part of our practice today,
Take a moment to express gratitude toward yourself for the gift of intentional time to be present,
Mindful and centered.
What a beautiful effort you've put forth.
