Hello,

Beloved,

And welcome to a meditation for healing mind,

Body and spirit.

My name is Julie,

And I'm delighted to lead you through this meditation today.

To begin,

Find yourself in a comfortable seated or laying down position with an elongated spine.

Breathe in through your nose,

All the first few breaths out through your mouth and a heavy sigh.

One more breath in,

Deep into the belly.

Last breath,

Inhaling through the nose,

Deep into the belly.

Allow your belly to be soft and expansive,

So you can direct every inhale into the belly,

Drawing the attention away from the chest.

As you breathe,

Let every breath become a little bit deeper,

A little bit slower,

Trying to equalize the inhale and exhale.

Notice where in your body your breath is moving.

Use the exhales to relax any tension you may be holding in your mind,

Body or spirit.

Allow yourself to be fully supported by the earth,

Letting your body be heavy,

Your shoulders sink down,

Your forehead and jaw relaxing,

Softening the space behind your ears,

Bringing your tongue down from the roof of your mouth,

Releasing tension and tightness in the upper back,

Mid back,

Lower back and hips.

Let your arms be heavy,

Your legs heavy.

Inhale your hands and feet and allow them to relax and soften.

If there are any spaces that you feel particular tension,

Inhale,

Drawing new energy in,

Healing energy,

Direct it into that space and use the exhale to remove any energy that does not belong there,

That is preventing healing or causing sickness.

Imagine a cord from the base of your spine moving down and tethering you into the very core of the earth.

In recognizing that we are of the earth,

From the earth,

Ask yourself and ask the earth to rebuild the connection so that you may receive the earth's healing energy.

Feel this healing energy rising up through the base of your spine,

Filling your whole body and then coming out to the very top of your head.

This energy that comes out of the top of your head,

Let's visualize this as a second cord,

This one reaching out deep into the universe,

Connecting with all that there is,

Recognizing that you are stardust and you are divine.

You are divinity incarnate,

Ask yourself and the divine to mend the bridge and reconnect and invite healing energy from the universe down the cord,

Letting it pour into your whole being.

Feel the energy coming up from the earth,

Coming down from the universe,

Invite it to touch every part of you,

To remove obstacles,

Blockages and to bring in warmth,

Love,

Peace,

Harmony and healing.

Continue to breathe,

Letting these energies radiate out from your being.

Then,

Bring your awareness into your heart center and I invite you to think of something that you're grateful for.

It could be something small or big or just the idea of what gratitude might feel like.

As you inhale,

Allow this feeling to expand to fill your whole chest for gratitude to fill your whole being.

See how far you can expand this gratitude beyond yourself.

Can you fill the room that you're in,

Your neighborhood,

The continent you're on?

Can you surround the whole world expanding out,

Spreading this appreciation to the universe beyond?

When you've extended your gratitude as far beyond yourself as you're able,

Allow this feeling to come back into the heart center and direct your appreciation to yourself,

To your body,

Your mind,

Your life,

Appreciation for all that you have and all that you do not have,

For all that you're able to do,

For all the experiences in your life,

All the people and influences for your ancestors,

For all of the things in life that brought you to this very moment.

Really repeating,

I love myself,

I am healing,

I am healed.

Once more,

Connect with your breath,

Observe the way your breath naturally flows in and out.

Ask your breath to bring healing energy to all the spaces in your life that you needed so that you can be healed in mind,

Body and spirit.

Then begin to take deeper breaths,

Waking your body with your inhale with new energy.

Feel your fingers and toes and finally,

Blinking your eyes open.
