Use this meditation to connect to your body. To breathe healing into each part, from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. Guiding your breath to each space allows your body to relax, to release stress, and to embody feeling calm and connected.

Transcript

Today is a very gentle healing body scan.

This practice is really beautiful even if you just have a minute or two or you're feeling any discomfort or tension or frustration to just close your eyes and reconnect with your body starting with the very tips of your toes all the way to the top of your head.

But I will guide you through right now.

So together,

Let's go in.

Take some nice deep breaths.

Get really cozy whether you are sitting up or lying down,

Whatever you prefer,

Just find a space that's really comfortable for you.

Continue to take some deep inhales with the intention of drawing healing breath into your body.

Release any discomfort,

Any stress,

Any tension through audible exhales.

And again,

Each inhale,

You are breathing in healing breath.

Every exhale,

You're releasing any discomfort,

Bringing your awareness into the very soles of your feet.

You're going to slowly move your breath into each part of your body.

So here we go.

Take a deep breath,

Bringing your attention into the soles of your feet,

Moving your awareness to your ankles and your calves,

Filling yourself with relaxation and release.

Breathe into your knees,

Your thighs.

Take a deep breath into your pelvis,

Your lower back and your lower abdomen.

Breathe into your spine.

Fill your upper abdomen.

Let it all out.

Fill your lungs with your fresh breath.

And breathe into your heart.

Feel your chest rise and fall.

Breathe into your shoulders,

Allowing them to relax.

Shift your awareness into your throat as you relax your jaw.

Relax your entire face,

Your forehead,

Your temples.

And as you take one more deep inhale,

Feel a rush of light all the way into the top of your head.

For the next minute or so,

Anywhere you are holding tension,

Allow yourself to release it,

To let it go.

And just stay here,

Just breathing,

Inviting and welcoming healing.

To breathe into the spaces that need to be released and relaxed.

Just connect to your breath,

Connect to your body.
