Spirituality is your connection with a power greater than yourself.
No matter how you connect with it,
The spiritual dimension is what energizes and inspires our life and gives it meaning.
The spiritual is not separate from,
But intrinsic to,
Who we really are.
The purpose of this meditation is to open the door to your own divine essence and to know and trust in a higher force that is always there as you need it.
So during this meditation,
Simply allow your breath and the words to take you to the spiritual dimension that helps you recognize your own spiritual connection to that force greater than yourself.
So make sure you're comfortable sitting on the floor or in a chair and keep your head neck and back in alignment and allow your hands to rest comfortably in your lap and gently close your eyes.
When you're ready,
Slowly begin to breathe through your nose,
Keeping your mouth closed.
Inhale and exhale through your nose,
Allowing the air to flow past your windpipe as it travels all the way down to your abdomen,
As if inflating a balloon deep in your stomach.
As the air flows out,
Notice the rise and fall of your stomach with each breath.
Continue to take long,
Slow,
Deep breaths into your abdomen and find your own rhythm.
Slow your breathing down even more.
Notice your breath becoming slower and softer.
With every breath you take,
You're becoming more and more relaxed and at ease.
You feel completely safe,
Secure,
And relaxed.
In your mind,
Repeat the following.
I know that I am pure spirit,
That I always have been and that I always will be.
There is inside of me a place of confidence,
Quietness,
And security where all things are known and understood.
This is the universal mind.
Inside of which I am a part of and which responds to me as I ask of it.
This universal mind knows the answers to all of my problems.
And even now,
The answers are speeding their way to me.
No need to struggle for them,
No need to worry about them,
Or even strive for them.
When the time comes,
The answers will appear.
I give my problems to the great mind of God.
I let go of them,
Confident that the correct answers will return to me when they're needed.
I trust that everything in life that I need for my work and fulfillment in life will come to me.
It's not necessary that I strain about this,
Only to believe.
For in the strength of my belief,
My faith will make it so.
I see the hand of divine intelligence all around me,
Grounding me,
Supporting me,
Loving me.
I know that my body is a manifestation of pure spirit,
And that spirit is perfect.
Therefore my body is perfect also.
I enjoy life,
For each day brings a constant demonstration of the power and wonder of the universe in myself.
I'm confident.
I am serene,
And I am secure.
No matter what obstacle crosses my path,
I refuse to accept it,
For it is nothing but an illusion.
There can be no obstacle to the mind of God,
Which is in me,
Around me,
And serves me now.
Now simply allow these words to penetrate your whole body.
Feel the vibration.
Feel the power,
The energy,
The strength.
Feel the love,
And know that all is okay.
It is now time to bring this journey to an end.
So with your next three breaths,
Start to slowly bring yourself back to your physical surroundings.
Bring yourself back to the moment.
And when you're ready,
Taking your time,
Gently open your eyes and carry these words with you.
I am pure spirit.
I always have been,
And I always will be.
