Over the next few moments you will be guided into a deep peace meditation.
Inner peace is about letting go,
Relaxing,
Letting go more,
And relaxing more.
You can do this now.
So let's begin by relaxing our whole body.
So sit in a comfortable position with your eyes closed.
Keeping your mouth closed,
Inhale and exhale through your nose.
And allow each inhalation to fill your stomach.
And breathe deeply into your stomach.
Then slowly exhale through your nose.
With each breath,
Slow your breathing down even more.
Notice your breath becoming slower and softer.
As you take long slow deep breaths,
Let go of any tension and feel yourself sink further into relaxation.
Take another slow deep breath and release your thoughts,
Letting them drift far away.
Take another slow deep breath and know that in this moment all is okay.
Now notice your connection to the space around you.
Bring your attention to your feet or your body touching the ground.
Feel the energy of the earth flowing into you right now.
Supporting you,
Grounding you.
And imagine the energy of the life force gently flowing into your body beginning with your feet.
Feel the energy slowly moving up to your ankles and now into your calves.
As you relax a feeling of peace and calm begins to make its way through your body.
Relaxation is leaving as all the muscles in your body begin to relax.
Now allow this relaxation to extend up into your knees,
Up to your thighs and into your hips.
Notice that your lower body is relaxed and at ease.
Feel this relaxation extend up into your lower back and abdomen.
And into your chest and upper back as you become even more comfortable,
Relaxed and at peace.
You're letting every part of you know that this is a moment to rest,
Relax and to heal.
Now feel this comfortable peaceful feeling move throughout your shoulders,
Your arms,
Down to your elbows and hands.
Breathing all the way down to the tips of your fingers.
Notice that your upper body is now relaxed and at ease.
You're going to move up to your neck,
Letting go of any tension being held in this area.
Feel your neck relax and allow this feeling of comfort to move into the back of your head.
Breathing up to your face,
Allow your cheeks and jaw muscles to soften.
Allow your eyes to soften and your forehead to relax.
And now bring that energy softly and peacefully through the top of your head.
Your entire body is completely comfortable,
Relaxed and at ease.
Ready to receive positive energy and healing.
You're in a state of peaceful relaxation,
Open to good things and ready to enjoy deep peace.
Now bring all of that energy and your awareness and allow it to drop down into your heart center.
Notice a softness there.
With every breath,
Simply allow your heart to open and expand.
Notice that your breathing has become steady and peaceful as you quietly focus on your heart center.
In this moment all you need to do is gently breathe in and breathe out.
You're entirely safe and secure.
And in this moment all is well.
At this time imagine this energy of life as a warm,
Soft golden light filling your body,
Your mind and most of all your heart center.
Keeping your attention on your heart,
Notice this warm,
Soft golden light penetrating your whole chest.
Your whole chest is beaming with this warm,
Loving,
Soft bright light.
Notice how your breathing has become deeper and slower.
Right now in your mind as you breathe in,
Breathe in the word deep.
And as you breathe out,
Breathe out the word peace.
Take a few moments to follow your breath in and out with the words deep peace.
If other thoughts come in,
Simply notice them and let them float away and refocus on deep and peace.
Breathing in and out.
Continue to inhale the word deep and exhale the word peace.
Do this for some time.
Now consider one thing in your life that tends to bother you or causes you distress and imagine you're holding that situation gently in your heart,
Surrounded by this soft golden light.
Without trying to analyze it,
Change it or control the situation,
Just hold it safely in your heart and breathe in the words deep and peace in and out of that situation.
Often things that disturb us either change,
Dissolve or stop to disturb us if we lighten the way we think about them.
So for now and for the sake of your own inner peace,
Just continue to hold that situation softly in your heart,
In the golden light and breathe the word deep and peace in and out.
Again do this for some time.
Now allow that situation to gently fade away.
See how it evaporates right into thin air and focus only on the soft golden light.
Breathing in and out with the words deep peace.
See and feel yourself surrounded in that golden light and that feeling of deep peace.
You are entirely safe and secure.
You know that all is okay.
It's now time to bring this journey to a close.
But remember at any time during the day when you're feeling stressed,
Disturbed or uneasy,
Simply inhale the word deep and exhale the word peace and feel yourself relax.
So with the next three breaths start to come back to the room,
Taking your time slowly come back to the moment.
Now fully bring your awareness gently back to your physical surroundings.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes,
Feel awake,
Alert,
Refreshed and most of all full of deep peace.
