This is a five minute practice to boost self belief.
Find your comfortable seat and when you're ready close your eyes.
Place your left hand on your heart and your right hand on your belly and simply take a moment to tune into your body and to your breath.
Connecting to that subtle inner and outer smile,
Just lifting the corners of the mouth slightly.
Take a deeper inhale through the nose and then open the mouth and exhale like you're fogging up a glass.
Slow,
Deep inhale through the nose,
Just sipping the air in through the nose real slow,
Real soft and in your own time open your mouth,
Exhale.
Slow inhale.
Come all the way to the top of the inhale,
Open your mouth,
Fog up the glass,
Exhale.
Last one,
Slow inhale through the nose.
Come all the way to the top,
A little pause at the top and open the mouth,
Exhale.
Breathing in and out of the nose,
Letting the breath move naturally in and out of the body.
You can slide the right hand underneath your left,
Connecting to your heart space,
Connecting to your inner and outer smile and we'll say some affirmations to take charge of your thoughts,
To plant seeds for greater self-belief.
Repeat after me,
Either in your own mind or out loud,
I am capable.
I am capable of whatever I put my mind to.
I 100% believe in myself.
I choose to believe in myself.
Any self-doubt that I'm holding on to,
I choose to release on a cellular level.
I welcome my most courageous and confident self.
Let those words land in your body,
Feel those words land in your body and as you do that,
Just invite this feeling of self-belief,
This feeling of courage and confidence into the body.
Taking an inhale through the nose and as you exhale,
Pass the lips and blow away any negativity.
And again,
Inhale through the nose and as you exhale,
Pass the lips,
Blowing away any negativity,
Any negative thoughts,
Anything that's bothering you,
Just blow it away.
