Navigating life's turbulence,

A spiritual approach to stress and anxiety.

In the whirlwind of life's demands,

It's easy to find ourselves ensnared by stress and anxiety.

However,

There exists a spiritual path that can guide us through these stormy times,

Encouraging us to tap into our inner wisdom and find tranquility amidst the chaos.

This spiritual journey is encapsulated in the acronym SOUL,

Serenity,

Optimism,

Unwind and Love.

And it's these four pillars that can help anyone cultivate this mindset without retreating from the world.

The power of gratitude,

The first pillar of serenity,

Invites us to express gratitude profoundly.

Gratitude is more than just saying thank you.

It's about recognising the blessings in our lives and acknowledging the beauty that surrounds us.

When we express gratitude,

We shift our focus from what's wrong in our lives to what's right.

And this shift in perspective can have a transformative effect on our overall well-being.

I believe this,

That gratitude is the key that unlocks the door to a heart full of love.

And when we express gratitude,

We invite joy into our everyday presence.

Optimism,

Starting the day with positivity.

Optimism,

The second pillar,

Encourages us to positively start our day.

In a world where we are constantly bombarded with negative news and information,

It's easy to fall into a pattern of pessimism.

We've got a bed on our phone and we wake up on our phone.

But if we consciously choose to start our day with some uplifting thoughts and positive affirmations,

We can start a positive tone for the rest of the day.

I believe this,

That each sunrise brings a new day filled with new opportunities.

Embrace it with optimism and the world will reflect the light of your attitude.

Unwind the importance of solitude.

Unwind,

The third pillar,

Is about making time for solitude.

In our busy lives,

It's easy to forget the importance of spending time alone with our thoughts.

Solitude allows us to reflect on our lives,

Gain clarity about our goals and aspirations,

And reconnect with our inner selves.

It's this sacred space where we can let go of the noise and the distractions of the outside world and to tune in to our inner wisdom.

Again,

I believe this,

In the silence of solitude we find the melody of our soul.

In these quiet moments,

We truly come home to ourselves.

Love,

Caring for our bodies.

Love,

The fourth pillar,

Emphasises the importance of physical activities in our daily routines.

Our bodies are vessels that carry us through life.

And it's this crucial that we take care of it,

We take care of them.

Regular physical activity improves our physical health,

Boosts our mental wellbeing,

And provides a natural antidote to stress and anxiety.

I believe this,

If you love your body for this is the temple of your spirit.

When we care for our bodies with love,

We honour the divine within us.

And love is more than just caring for our bodies.

Love is be love,

Loving yourself,

Giving yourself the credit and the pat on the back when you deserve it.

And also,

Give love is the ability to love others,

But also for you to be able to receive love from others.

Be love and give love.

And there's another part to this.

Observe,

Pause and transform,

Managing our thoughts.

So in addition to these pillars,

Managing our thoughts,

Especially the negative ones,

It's crucial.

It's crucial because it's said that we have between 60 to 80,

000 thoughts a day,

With a significant portion being negative and repetitive.

To combat this,

I suggest we adopt a three-step method,

Which I will be calling observe,

Pause and transform.

And this involves recognising the source of negative thoughts,

Reflecting on their impact,

And replacing them with healthier things.

Observing your thoughts without judgement,

Pause to embrace the lesson,

And transform the negativity into a stepping stone towards growth is what I advocate.

So when you find purpose within the journey,

Alongside managing stress and anxiety,

Exploring the concept of purpose,

It's essential.

There's a huge movement,

A recent trend,

I believe,

Down to a lot of it with COVID,

But just life in general,

Of a great awakening.

Where millions are leaving their conventional jobs in the source of much more meaningful lives.

It's important to remember that purpose can be found both within and outside our traditional structures.

Discovering our purpose involves harnessing our gifts,

Our talents,

And bringing them positively to impact the world.

Your purpose is the divine melody that plays in your heart.

Listen to it,

Let it guide you,

Let it guide your steps,

And let it illuminate your path.

And all of these things may sound,

You know,

A lot of things to do,

Or a lot of things to think,

Or a lot of things to be.

But let's boil it all back.

Let's boil it down to the ritual of a tea.

A simple yet powerful way to start the day and ward off some stresses,

Make yourself a cup of tea.

The ritual of brewing and savouring tea encourages mindfulness,

Slows us down and helps us to collect our thoughts.

And don't forget,

If you drink green tea,

For instance,

Or any tea,

It's packed with natural substances that can help the body build resilience to stress and its negative effects.

For me in the morning,

The making of a cup of tea for me and a cup of coffee for my wife is a journey of mindfulness,

A moment to slow down and to tune into the symphony of my body.

And finally,

Meditation,

The gateway to inner peace.

And as we conclude,

I want to invite you to join me in a moment of meditation.

I need to close your eyes and just take a nice deep breath in.

Hold it at the top and then let it go.

And just feel the,

Your lungs and your chest and everything just expanding.

Fill your lungs with air and then slowly release it.

And as you breathe,

You let go of any tension in your body,

You let go of any thoughts that have been clouding your mind.

Just be here at this moment,

Fully present.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And just feel and sense this light that's within you glowing brightly.

And it may not be growing out brightly at the beginning,

But just allow it to illuminate.

Because it's this light that sits inside you that represents your inner wisdom,

Your inner peace.

And you have to let this light grow brighter with each breath you take.

Feel its warmth spreading through your body,

Filling you with a sense of calm and tranquility.

And just silently repeat to yourself,

I am serene.

I am optimistic.

I unwind to connect with my inner self.

I love and care for my body.

I observe my thoughts.

I pause to reflect and I transform them into the stepping stones towards growth.

I am on a journey to discover my purpose.

I embrace all the rituals and moments of mindfulness.

I am a beacon of light,

Radiating peace and positivity.

Let's just repeat that once more.

I am serene.

I am optimistic.

I unwind to connect with my inner self.

I love and care for my body.

I observe my thoughts.

I pause to reflect and transform them into the stepping stones towards growth.

I am on a journey to discover my purpose.

I embrace all mindful rituals.

And I'm a beacon of light.

And I'm a beacon of light,

Radiating peace and positivity.

And as you breathe now,

Just bask in the glow of your inner light.

Because we know that through meditation we journey within to find our true selves.

It's a voyage of discovery,

But it's leading us to the shores of inner peace.

It's not about making one monumental change,

But rather small incremental changes that lead to growth and purpose.

So embrace your soul,

Observe,

Pause and transform your thoughts.

Find your purpose and navigate life's turbulence,

Finding the calm within your spirit.

Have a wonderful day whatever you're doing.

And when you're ready,

Breathe in,

Gently open your eyes,

Wiggle your fingers and carry this peace with you as you continue the rest of your day.

And have a wonderful one.

God bless you.

Be love and give love.

Take care.

Bye bye.
