Take a deep breath, Feel the sun reaching down to you, And feel yourself extend taller, 20 meters from the soil floor to meet the sun's rays. Feel your skin now, As dark, Thin scales of bark, With flat, Dark green leaves arranged in a spiral formation. Breathe in this dark green chlorophyll and already feel the sunlight be converted to energy. As you feel yourself grow taller towards the sun, Also feel roots extend from the soles of your feet now. Send your energy just below the surface of the earth. Then take another breath and feel your energy, Your consciousness extend deeper and wider into the soil, Deeper and wider, Deeper and wider still into the soil, While reaching up, Also spiraling upwards and outwards. Feel this immaculate balance between being so deeply rooted and connected and intertwined, And also spiraling up, Reaching up and out, To touch the deep, Cool, Wet depths of the earth, While also embracing the warm, Open air. Feel the immaculate balance of being at once extremely old, And simultaneously incredibly youthful and new, Simultaneously ancient and embryonic. The sense of eternity. The sense of eternity. The uncanny ability to continually renew, To heal yourself and those around you.
