
Melting Limitations Visualization Meditation
Melt away any limiting beliefs through this deep visualization and somatic clearing. This meditation invites you to explore the glacier of your life - what's above the surface and what is held deep in the depths of the subconscious.
Transcript
Take a nice deep breath.
Allow your body to become very comfortable.
And just begin to let your eyes fix on one spot in front of you.
And just allowing your line of sight to kind of narrow in on one thing.
And already beginning to feel anything that's kind of in the periphery,
In the background,
Just kind of softly fade.
And you can start by taking a few nice deep breaths.
And just inhaling deeply and then exhaling.
And making sure that your exhale is longer than your inhale.
So inhaling deeply and then exhaling.
Long exhale,
Slowly releasing.
And one more deep inhale and then let your exhale take a little bit of time.
And then just allowing your normal pattern of breath to return.
But really noticing this pattern,
This breath,
Without controlling it now or changing it in any way.
Just noticing your normal pattern of breath,
Of breathing.
Feeling the rise and fall of your chest.
Feeling the way that the air,
The oxygen in this room,
Enters in through the nose.
And moves up into the head and then pushes down all the way through the neck,
The shoulders,
Down the spine.
Through all of the internal organs.
And then out down the legs.
And just feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed with each breath you naturally take.
And first I'll invite you to imagine the sun on your face.
Feeling yourself kind of warm in this basking,
Sunbathing in the warmth of the sun.
Feeling yourself warm and comfortable and enjoying this kind of melty feeling.
This way that this being in the direct sunlight is kind of automatically relaxing.
Inviting this relaxation,
Soaking up the vitamin D through the skin,
Which makes us happy and calm.
And feeling that your body is already so relaxed now.
Feeling the skin relaxed,
The muscles relaxed,
The bones relaxed,
All of the internal organs relaxing.
And now that you're so relaxed,
And still feeling this beautiful bright sun on your skin.
I'll invite you to imagine that you are here under this big bright sun.
And actually you're even closer to the sun than usual,
Because you can find yourself at the south pole of the earth.
And so seeing yourself here at the south pole,
Maybe you've never even really imagined it before,
Seeing this kind of icy,
Snowy,
Wet.
Finding yourself in this icy,
White landscape.
But even though you're standing on ice,
You're still warm from the sun.
Feeling this kind of beautiful balance between this big,
Bright,
Warm,
Close sun above.
And also this icy,
Frozen cold underneath.
Just knowing the way that the light bounces off this snow and this ice.
And even reflecting off of some of the open water around.
And how that just amplifies the light,
Makes everything 10 times brighter.
Completely illuminated.
And maybe there are some penguins,
Or some steels,
These kind of special creatures that live between land and water.
Who are perfectly adapted to this special climate.
And I'd like you to imagine,
To see with your mind now,
A big,
Beautiful glacier in front of you.
Floating in this watery sea in front of you.
Seeing a glacier.
A big,
Icy mountain.
And allow this glacier to be kind of a metaphor or representation for your life.
Knowing that there is this white,
Mountainous part that sticks up above the sea level.
And then knowing that underneath the surface,
There is a whole other half,
Or maybe even most,
Majority of this glacier that's existing underneath the water.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg,
As they say,
Kind of poking up into the light.
And as we kind of examine this glacier,
I'd like you to imagine this part here that's poking out of the water that is exposed to the sun.
Like the kind of outward-facing aspect of your life.
Just kind of seeing there,
This sea,
This above-sea-level part of your life.
Everything that you share openly,
Maybe your work,
Whatever you put out onto the internet or into the world.
The kind of beautiful parts of yourself and your life that you're proud to share.
Moving a little bit below the surface of the water.
And seeing that underneath the water's surface,
There is an even larger part of this glacier,
Kind of close to the surface.
The color of ice kind of deepens,
Turns a little bit of this kind of blue,
Icy blue color,
But not this pristine white that we have on the top.
And just seeing this kind of layer of the glacier as everything in your life that you kind of hold back a little bit.
Anything that maybe you kind of only share with those closest to you,
Parts of your life,
Your personality,
Your experiences that are very real for you.
But you don't really bring them up above the surface.
And just without needing to become too attached or too engaged,
Just allowing yourself to take this kind of observation,
Almost this kind of scientific look at the facts,
The data.
Taking an unjudgmental assessment of your life and what is above the surface and what is just below the surface.
And seeing what's there,
What might be there in this kind of level.
And knowing that you don't need to get kind of too involved or engaged with it,
Just seeing this as kind of an exercise,
A scientific research to kind of understand the broader picture.
To allow yourself to kind of explore the parts of ourselves that are less explored,
Maybe suppressed.
And maybe even kind of noticing why,
Why these parts are kind of pushed down underneath the surface.
Just knowing that this is a liberating exercise to kind of understand,
To gain insight,
To embrace our entirety and not shy away.
To kind of engage with the parts of ourselves that we're holding back from the light.
And just feeling liberated by this information,
By this study.
Looking even deeper down into this part of the glacier that's far underneath the surface.
This very saturated blue color,
This deep blue.
It's kind of bright blue,
Actually.
If you ever see a glacier kind of topple over,
It has this big bright blue part that doesn't see the light.
It's highly saturated and seeing this part of this glacier of your life as your kind of deep subconscious beliefs.
And seeing what's kind of going on there.
What is going on so deep,
Deep in the subconscious that you're not even normally aware of it?
What kind of beliefs are you holding there?
Both positive and negative,
Just let them arise.
Just like a scientist studying this glacier,
Just kind of allowing the data to present itself to you.
What part of yourself is deeply,
Deeply ingrained?
What beliefs do you hold that are maybe limiting,
Holding you back,
Keeping you stuck?
And just allowing the entirety of this kind of deep,
Deep shadow of this glacier,
This deep root to become very clear for you now.
And as you begin to kind of see objectively your life in this way,
What is at the surface and what is at the deep,
Watery depths?
And you can even begin to feel this kind of rigidity,
This icy hardness,
This kind of glacier,
This ice rock in your body.
And maybe it's your whole body or maybe it arises in one particular place,
But just allowing it,
Any kind of stuck energy,
Any kind of hard rigidity,
Any icy glacial energy in the body to arise now.
And in a moment,
We're going to feel as this beautiful,
Bright light melts away anything in our bodies,
Anything that you're feeling in your body now.
Any iciness,
Anything stuck in the deep depth,
Anything limited,
Anything rigid,
Anything hard and cold,
Just going to begin to slowly loosen and melt.
So starting with the number three,
I'm going to count you down from three to one.
And as I do,
You're going to feel this icy energy in your body,
This cold glacial rock,
These deep,
Stuck beliefs loosen and melt now.
Starting on three,
Three and two,
Just breathing in deeply and each deep breath you take,
Feel this warming sensation.
Feeling this melting,
This liquefying into something fluid,
Liquidy,
Feeling this sweet melty sensation throughout your whole body now.
And then even feeling this water as it's evaporated into mist or kind of condensation into a cloud that kind of blankets your whole body,
Allow this kind of misty energy to come over you,
Bringing this beautiful freshness,
This softness.
This light,
Fresh energy just blanketing your whole body misting over you now.
And feeling that these limitations that you held deep down so deep have now been loosened,
Liquefied and completely evaporated back into the atmosphere.
Feeling this clearness in the body,
Taking a few deep breaths and feeling this fresh,
Clear,
Free energy.
Feeling so free of these limitations,
Feeling this freedom of pure authenticity.
And then I'd like for you to kind of approach the edge of this icy landmass you're standing on towards this cold,
Deep seawater where this glacier is.
And just take a look into the reflection of the water.
And in the reflection in the surface of this dark,
Deep,
Cold sea,
You're going to see your own face,
Your own self reflected back,
But you're going to see yourself in the near future,
Maybe kind of between three and six months.
Into the future.
And see yourself this version of yourself that exists in the near future but this version of you is so completely free and authentic.
This version of you that has no limitations.
This version of you that exists in a life where anything feels possible,
Who has this kind of childlike authenticity and confidence in their eye.
Seeing their face,
Calm,
Open.
Knowing they share more with the world,
Knowing that failure is not even a possible outcome.
Feel this sense of calm,
This sense of abundance,
This sense of possibility,
This deep,
Deep,
Deep belief in self,
This deep openness.
And this freedom,
This sense of pure freedom and see them smiling back at you and seeing if this near future version of you has anything that they would like to say to present you.
Maybe it's a message,
Some advice,
A word of thanks,
Some gratitude,
Anything that they have to say to you.
Maybe it's even just a vibe.
Accepting whatever this future reflection has to offer you.
And breathing this in.
And then as you exhale,
Seeing this future you,
The reflection kind of fade back into the depths of the water,
Maybe kind of spread out in ripples.
And feel this feeling of freedom,
Of childlike authenticity.
And feel it kind of as this glow moving through the body,
This light moving through the body.
And feeling as it gets larger and larger and larger as it expands out from you.
Breathing in.
And as you exhale,
Feeling your kind of energy,
Your aura,
Your light expand larger and larger and larger.
And each time you breathe,
I want you to feel it even move out further from you.
So maybe starting with just a few meters and then moving out so that it eventually takes over the whole planet.
Feeling it,
Feeling this huge expansion.
And then feeling yourself expand even further,
Imagining the whole solar system.
And I want you to imagine that you can send your energy,
Yourself,
Expand all the way to the outermost ring of our solar system,
All the way to the planet Pluto.
And feel yourself here standing on this ice in the South Pole,
Moving your energy all the way out to Pluto,
This icy little planet orbiting around our same sun.
And really imagining Pluto for a second,
Moving through the cosmos,
This little icy planet,
But this planet that rules the subconscious mind.
And feeling your own transformation,
Your own expansion kind of sync up with Pluto,
Feeling Pluto kind of move your desires for self.
Your desires for transformation,
For expansion,
Your gifts,
Everything that you have to share with the world,
Feeling it moving forward at full speed.
And feeling Pluto kind of helping you out here with your own transformation.
Feeling as your life,
Your energy,
Your expansion is syncing up with the movement of the planet,
With the changing of the seasons.
And even taking this warming of the earth as a sign to let these limitations ago,
Knowing that now's the time.
Now's the time to act,
To share yourself authentically with the world,
To give your gifts,
To share your beauty,
Your talents.
Feeling all of these shifts,
Whether they seem supportive or whether they seem negative or difficult.
Just feeling these shifts as an invitation to sync up,
To melt your own limiting beliefs,
To not hesitate,
To accelerate your own growth,
Your own expansion,
Your own transformation.
So you can share what you have with the world.
And feeling the support of the entire solar system,
Maybe even feeling the support of the whole galaxy or the entire universe.
Just allowing your energy to get as kind of big as it can,
Your awareness to grow as big as it can.
Opening the eyes now,
Awake and aware,
Back in the room,
Feeling so much better,
Feeling free,
Feeling light,
Feeling authentic,
Feeling a sense of momentum.
