Hello and welcome to today's meditation.
My name is Joy.
Today's theme is letting go.
Let's become comfortable here now adjusting the posture as needed to experience this relaxing meditation.
Take a moment now to just settle and relax.
Close the eyes.
Letting go means having trust that things will get better.
It means being brave to move forward to get where you want to be.
Letting go means accepting the things you can't change and doing something about the things you can.
Letting go is generous and it comes from a kinder place,
A place of deeper regard for yourself and others.
Bring letting go into your meditation today.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
The in-breath and the out-breath.
Just observe the breath without judging,
Without forcing.
Take three deep breaths in and out,
Allowing yourself to relax more and more on each exhale.
Return your breathing to its natural rhythm as you naturally relax easily and effortlessly.
Bring yourself into the present moment.
Allow the past to be the past,
The future to be the future.
Know you are safe in this moment right now.
Accept this moment right here,
Right now.
Bring your awareness to the top of your head and allow relaxation to cascade down your face.
Allow your eyes to become heavy.
Relax your cheeks and your jaw.
Allow your tongue to find its place resting on the roof of the mouth.
Drop the shoulders and allow them to fall away from your neck,
Letting go,
Letting go.
Let go the arms and hands and just relax.
Return your focus to the breath and notice the rise and fall of the chest with each inhale and exhale.
If any thoughts or feelings arise,
Just let them go and return your attention to your breath.
Allow for the letting go and the relaxation in the belly and the hips.
As you let go,
Melt into the surface below,
Feeling fully supported.
Relaxation now flows down through the legs all the way to the feet.
Feeling deeply relaxed as if you are wrapped in a warm blanket of relaxation.
Continue to focus on the breath in this deep state of relaxation and letting go as you now relax into the breath and the intention of letting go.
Let go of any thoughts,
Feelings,
Emotions from your day.
Let go of anything on your to do list.
Just let go in this very moment.
Feel into this intention of letting go with the relaxing energy of your breath and as you exhale,
Anything that you want to let go of is released.
Continue to breathe in and breathe out.
Let go of anything that you want to let go of.
Let go of anything that you want to let go of.
Let go of anything that you want to let go of.
Let go of anything that you want to let go of.
Let go of anything that you want to let go of.
Gently begin to bring yourself back into the room,
Moving your fingers and toes and take with you today that intention of letting go.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
