A soft, guided meditation to support you in returning to yourself with tenderness and care. Remothering is an invitation to connect with the parts of you that may feel unseen, unheard, or unloved — and to gently offer them the warmth, compassion, and safety they’ve always deserved. Let this be a moment of deep inner holding.

Welcome to Remothering,

Meditation designed to support you in times when you need nurturance,

You need guidance,

You need love.

Perhaps you didn't receive the love that you wish you had and if that's you I hope this practice supports you.

If you are able to do this meditation in nature I highly highly recommend you do and if you can't be maybe grab a leaf or a flower or a rock or anything connected to mother nature.

So take a minute to get set up,

You can pause the practice and when you arrive take a deep breath in through the belly,

Lift the ribs,

Lift the chest.

Full breath out and able to spine.

Do that again,

Deep breath in,

Expand the belly,

Lift the ribs,

Lift the chest.

Deep breath out and able to spine and see if on the inhale if you can lift up through the crown of your head keeping the three-part breath,

Extend through the crown of the head like you're reaching into the sky and on the exhale ground down through the sit bones,

Send your breath into the earth,

Ground in.

Keep breathing in this way,

Feeling the elevation through the crown of the head,

Shoulders are away from the ears but you're sitting tall,

You're sitting present,

You're sitting open and on the exhale sinking deeper into the space with yourself and take a few moments to arrive there.

To ground further in you may add a count of four on the inhale,

Count of four on the exhale and just take a mental note of how you're feeling really,

It's a question of how are you really.

Perhaps if you've clicked on this particular meditation,

It's a sense of disappointment,

Ache,

Grief,

Anger and it's all valid.

From here I'd like you to think back to a time,

Perhaps it's recently,

Perhaps it's when you were younger,

Any time that you felt unseen,

You didn't receive the care that you needed,

The love that you needed,

The support.

Perhaps there's multiple times but I'd just like you to focus on one and focus on the resonance and the feeling in that person,

That version of you.

Firstly I'd like you to validate how they're feeling and sit with them in that feeling.

It's okay for you to feel the anger,

The rage,

The sadness,

The grief,

Disappointment.

Take a moment to connect in deeper with that version of you but notice how you're sitting beside them as a different version of you.

I invite you now to look to them in the eyes and to give yourself permission.

Firstly to feel it,

Secondly give and support the nurturance,

The support,

The love,

Interest that you needed in that time.

And with our connection to nature I would like you also to invite in the Divine Mother and all you have to do is use a little bit of imagination and a touch of openness to invite her in.

The Divine Mother Shakti lives with on all of us,

She's nurturing presence,

Fierce love,

Deep inner wisdom.

So use a breath or two to call in that energy.

Notice how she sits on the other side of both of you.

Notice how the energy shifts not only within your younger self but your version of yourself now.

And feel this evasive softness,

Presence,

Protection.

There's no need to force an image.

Every part of you is loved,

Even the part of you that is re-mothering your younger self.

Notice your energy shift,

Feeling completely safe,

Supported and held.

Breathe in this feeling.

With the essence of Shakti,

She sees you,

She's here with you now,

You're safe.

You never had to earn love,

It was always yours.

Consistency,

Devotion,

Selflessness.

Breathe here and now the essence of her.

Feel into the presence of an unconditionally loving Mother,

The Divine.

You owe it to yourself to give yourself everything you never received.

And whether you relate to the Divine Mother,

Shakti,

Whatever it is that you see or feel or sense,

Whether it's the earth,

The light,

The energy itself,

Let it wrap around all of you,

The three of you.

Notice how it all starts to become one.

You are the Mother you never had.

You can give yourself everything you need because you already do.

Allow this essence to hold you and lift you up from your seat.

Wrapped in this bubble,

Golden bubble of love,

Nurturance,

Safety.

Let her speak through you for the next moment or so.

When you're ready,

Allow yourself to land.

Begin to bring this nurturing presence into your physical body,

Through your breath,

Into your heart.

Feel the quiet strength of the earth beneath you and the warmth of your own love.

Remembering that you carry the Divine Mother within you,

Always.

Gently,

When you're ready,

Return to your space,

Your body.

Take a moment to linger,

A nice reminder to connect with Mother Earth every day.

She is our home and we are always supported.

I love love love this practise. Its so very powerful and much needed. I come to different situations every time where my inner child was the good boy and where I really needed exactly this nurturance and deeper contact with the divine mother earth. Thank you ❤️🙏
