Welcome,

I'm Jordan and today's meditation will be focused on heart breathing and inner peace.

I invite you to get into a comfortable position.

If you're sitting in a chair,

Place your feet on the floor.

If you're sitting on the ground,

Have your legs crossed,

Straighten your back,

Roll your shoulders down.

You may close your eyes and let a soft smile form on your lips.

Begin to notice your breath.

Pay attention to how it falls and rises.

Where do you notice it most?

Your nostrils,

Your chest,

Your abdomen.

Notice the feeling of air flowing through you as you inhale and exhale.

You may notice the feeling of air flowing through you as you inhale and exhale.

Just allow yourself this moment of stillness.

Just you and your breath.

If you notice your mind begin to wander off,

Gently pull it back without judgment.

Begin to focus on your breath again.

Now,

I invite you to move your focus from your breath down into your heart.

Notice how it feels when you shift this focus.

You can feel the air flowing through your body as you inhale and exhale.

If you notice your breath is comfortable,

Place a hand on your heart.

How does it feel with your focus in your heart?

Allow me to guide you through some heart breathing.

If you notice your breath,

You can feel the air flowing through your body as you inhale and exhale.

When you inhale,

You'll visualize your breath moving through the back of your heart.

When you exhale,

You'll visualize it moving through the front of your heart.

Inhale through the back of your heart and exhale through the front of your heart.

Inhale through the back of your heart and exhale out the front of your heart.

Now,

I invite you to visualize a warm energy swirling in your heart center.

This energy is healing,

Inviting inner peace into your heart.

This is the energy that is flowing through your heart center.

This is the energy that is flowing through your heart center.

Now,

I'll ask you some questions and just allow your intuition to answer for you.

Allow anything to come up.

You don't need to focus too hard or try to find the right answer.

All you're doing is listening to your own intuition.

What does inner peace look like to you?

How would it feel?

What would your life look like if you were completely at peace?

How would that differ from your current life?

How would it feel like to be at peace?

Finally,

What is one thing you can do for yourself today to cultivate your own inner peace?

How would you feel if you were completely at peace?

How would you feel if you were completely at peace?

I'll now end with a quote by Thich Nhat Hanh.

Each moment is a chance for us to make peace with the world,

To make peace possible for the world,

To make happiness possible for the world.

Now,

I invite you to let your awareness spread to the rest of your body and out into the room.

Start to move your feet,

Your hands and fingers.

Let your neck fall from one side into the other.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your practice today and giving yourself this moment of peace.

May we all live in peace,

Love and gratitude.
