Hey there,
Thank you so much for joining me,
Spencer Jones,
The Prince of Positivity,
In this meditation.
And this meditation is all about reflecting on this last year and embracing the new year.
Whether you're listening to this around New Year's or not,
At any other time of the year,
It's a beautiful thing and a beautiful meditation to just reflect,
Learn,
Grow,
And embrace the beautiful moments and take it into the future.
Now I recorded this meditation live in one of our InsideTimer lives,
So just so you are aware of that.
So you're finding that comfortable position for you,
Whatever that is,
Find that comfortable position.
And I invite you,
As we start this meditation,
To roll your shoulders back.
I'll just roll them gently.
Big shoulder rolls,
Release any tension or stress you might feel.
And then roll them forward.
And then backwards.
And then shake them out,
Shake them out,
Shake them out,
Shake them out.
Let your shoulders relax.
Drop your chin to your chest.
Keep your shoulders back.
And then gently roll your head to the right.
Feel that stretch in your neck.
And then roll your head to the left.
Being mindful of any pain or tightness you might feel.
Just allow the weight of your head to deepen that stretch.
Go to the other side.
Take a nice deep inhale.
Exhale.
And one more time go to.
.
.
I'm going to my left side now.
I'm going to breathe in.
And out.
You can roll your head all the way around if you like.
And raise it back up.
Finding and being in a comfortable position,
Whatever that is for you.
I invite you to close your eyes.
And take in three deep gentle breaths with me.
Synchronizing our energies.
So exhale what you have.
Breathe in.
Nice low deep breath.
And exhale.
Breathe in.
And out.
Allow your body and mind to relax as you continue to breathe in deeply and gently.
Allow your focus to be on your breath for the moment.
Breathing in.
And out.
In this meditation,
We're going to reflect on this last year.
We're going to reflect on the good times and the struggling times.
Because all of it,
All of it will help us grow and shine bright.
So I invite you to lay out your year in front of you.
Almost as if it's a big map.
That you can look at.
It's disconnected from you.
It's almost as if you're looking at someone else's map.
Someone else's life.
And you can look at any part of it.
I first invite you to look at the lows.
The struggles and valleys that you were in throughout this last year.
Try not to get sucked back into that lower energy.
But instead,
Approach them from a high loving caring place.
As you look back,
You can see,
Oh,
I struggled there.
What caused that struggle?
See if you can identify it.
And what lessons did you learn or can you take away from it?
Let's spend seven or eight breaths here.
Examining those lows.
About halfway through.
If you feel yourself getting sucked into that lower vibration,
Take a breath and step out.
Return to that place of love and light.
And when you're ready,
You can go back.
Last breath here.
Take those lessons.
The growth from that.
And keep that with you.
Allow it to help you as we go forward on this journey.
And release any of the weight.
Guilt,
Shame,
Anger,
Frustration,
Sadness.
All of those things.
Release them.
And free yourself.
And then as we look at this last year,
I invite you to see the good moments.
The wins,
The successes,
The moments that are precious and dear.
Maybe it was seeing family.
Maybe it was a promotion.
Or anything.
Big,
Small,
Obvious,
Obscure.
It doesn't matter.
Let's take seven or eight breaths and recognize those beautiful moments and savor their loving energy that they are sharing with you.
Let's take some time and savor them.
About halfway there.
Savor and immerse yourself in the joy.
You have some incredible things in your life.
Some amazing moments.
And you're so lucky and blessed to experience them this last year.
As we head into a new year,
Carry that love,
The joy,
The positives.
Carry the lessons.
And keep shining bright.
So for the next two or three breaths,
I invite you to envision and visualize stepping into this new year with that love and light in your heart.
That light beaming bright from you.
What does that look like and feel like to you?
And then come back to your breath.
Breathing in and out.
Knowing you are amazing.
You are worthy.
You are enough just the way you are.
And then let's bring this meditation to a gentle,
Yet loving close with an Aum.
It's always the length and pitch of your Aum that doesn't matter.
But allow that Aum to wrap you in its love and amplify it within you.
So let's breathe in an Aum together.
Here we go.
Take in that deep,
Beautiful breath.
Allow that love and beautiful energy to wash over you.
As you move and wiggle your toes and fingers.
You can move your toes and fingers,
Reawakening your body.
Let's get ready.
