Hi and welcome to today's affirmation practice.
Today we'll be focusing on four affirmations to help you create more alignment in your life and experience the joy and serenity of a life aligned with your deepest values.
Start by sitting symmetrically and upright but without it being uncomfortable.
Close your eyes to start the journey within and close your mouth so that you're only breathing through your nose.
Our nostrils filter the air we breathe better than our mouths do and thus allow for slower,
More serene breathing.
Become entirely still.
You're completely motionless except for the air coming in and out of your nostrils.
Observe your breathing as if you were looking at something separate from you.
It occurs naturally and automatically without you having to do anything.
Now notice how the air coming in is colder than the air coming out of your nostrils.
And if at any point you're bothered by thinking,
It's perfectly normal.
When you notice these thoughts,
Simply bring your attention back to the cold air coming in and warm air coming out.
We'll now focus on four affirmations to help you feel the joy and peace of mind that comes from aligning your life with your values.
Pay attention to the words contained in the affirmations while remaining focused on your breathing.
First affirmation,
My reality depends on where I place my attention.
Second affirmation,
I strengthen my attention by focusing on my breathing and on the sensations in my body.
Third affirmation,
I align what I eat,
What I watch,
And what I listen to with my values.
Fourth affirmation,
Everything I say and do is connected to my happiness and my ability to love.
Before finishing the meditation,
Observe your current mood as if you were inspecting your emotions from the outside looking in.
And when you're ready,
You can slowly come out of this meditation and start noticing the weight of your clothes on your body,
The surrounding sounds,
And of course the colors around you.
