When Setting Boundaries Makes You Feel Mean
Setting boundaries can feel deeply uncomfortable when you’re used to being the understanding one, the flexible one, or the person who keeps everything smooth. This practice is for the moments after you’ve said no, paused, pulled back, or chosen yourself, and your mind immediately starts questioning whether you were too much, too cold, or “mean.” Together, we’ll explore the difference between doing something harmful and doing something uncomfortable, while helping your nervous system stay grounded through the guilt, overthinking, and emotional discomfort that boundaries can bring. This track is part of the Emotional First Aid series. If you’d like to explore this work more deeply, you’re also very welcome in my course "How To Set Boundaries Without Guilt."
