This heart-centered sleep meditation gently guides you into rest by connecting you with the steady, calming presence of the heart. Jodi begins with soft guidance to help your body relax, your breath slow, and your awareness settle into a sense of being fully supported. As the meditation unfolds, the words become fewer and the pauses longer, allowing your nervous system to unwind naturally. The voice gradually fades away, leaving you with soothing music and quiet space so sleep can arrive in its own time. This practice is ideal for bedtime, middle-of-the-night waking, or anytime you want to feel safe, supported, and at ease as you drift into deep rest. Simply get comfortable, press play, and allow yourself to sleep. “Music by Christopher Lloyd Clarke. Provided by Enlightened Audio.”

Hello this is Jodi with Big Heart and I am really glad you are here.

As you settle in,

Place a gentle hand on your heart and let yourself feel how supported you are in this moment.

There is nothing to achieve,

Nothing to hold.

Simply allow yourself to soften,

To breathe.

I will begin to guide you and then I'll gently fade away so your heart,

The music and the quiet will carry you to sleep.

Bring your awareness to the space beneath you.

Notice how your body is being held by the bed and by the earth itself.

There is no effort required.

You are already supported.

Take a slow breath in through your nose and an easy breath out through your mouth.

Again inhale gently and exhale fully.

With every breath out,

Feel your body growing heavier as if you are being lovingly pulled into rest.

Bring your attention back to your heart and not your physical heart but the space of warmth and presence in the center of your chest.

Feel or imagine that space growing softly,

Steady.

Each breath flows in and out of the heart space.

If thoughts arise,

That's okay.

You don't need to follow them.

Simply let them drift past and return to the feeling of the heart gently rising and falling.

Allow your forehead to soften,

Your tongue to rest easily in your mouth,

Your jaw to release.

Let your shoulders melt downward,

Your arms feel heavy and your hands completely relaxed.

Your chest softens,

Your belly releases,

Your hips and legs and feet grow warm and heavy.

Imagine yourself floating effortlessly in a calm,

Quiet space.

Nothing pulling you.

If you no longer hear my voice,

That's okay.

Your breath becomes quieter now,

Almost unnoticeable.

Sleep begins to arrive naturally,

In its own perfect timing.

I will begin to speak less.

Simply allow the silence and music to guide you the rest of the way.

Rest now.

Your heart knows how to hold you.
