Hello,

This is Jodi with Big Heart and today we are going to do a meditation that calls forth peace.

So go ahead and get comfortable in your chair or cushion,

Sitting up in a nice relaxed position or lying down if that works better for you.

Whether it's okay to have thoughts when your mind wanders or drifts off,

Just keep coming back to my voice or your breath.

Start by taking some slow,

Long,

Deep breaths in.

In through your nose,

Out through your nose.

Allowing your mind and body to settle into your space.

Now in this moment allow your breath to flow in and out.

Feel your shoulders drop.

Notice a softening,

A relaxation that is starting.

Connecting your body to your breath and your breath to your body.

Now let's soften your eyes and your cheekbones.

Unclench your jaw if you are holding it tight.

Tuck your chin in slightly,

Allowing the back of your neck to elongate a little bit.

Soften your shoulders.

Relax your arms.

Open your chest and your belly.

Bring your attention to your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves.

Start to feel your whole body relaxed.

Connecting your body to your breath and your breath to your body.

Blend yourself with compassion,

With love and kindness.

Bring your attention to the rise and the fall of your chest as you breathe.

Simply observe your breathing.

Notice how your breath flows in and out.

Your body knows how much air it needs.

Sitting quietly,

See in your mind's eye your breath traveling in and out of your body.

With every in-breath,

We welcome stillness.

And with every out-breath,

We release any tension,

Any worry,

Any thoughts that no longer serve us.

You are your breath and your breath is you.

Your breath is your life force.

Feel your chest and your stomach gently rise and fall.

Continue to breathe for a moment as I mind the time.

Your breath allows your mind and your heart to connect and it's beautiful.

Allow that connection to be open to receive these words.

You have permission to feel what you need to feel in this moment.

You are a loving soul in a human body.

Unconditional love is always flowing through you and you are deserving.

Honor your call to rest.

There is great value in letting go.

Find the peace within.

Go deeper.

Embrace the silence.

And honor your call to rest.

Every flower needs time to grow.

Breathe from your roots.

Allow the quiet to pull you into its loving embrace.

Settle into the joy of being and honor your call to rest.

Allow your breathing to be the only thing you are concerned with.

Allow your interior world to open in front of you and walk into it fully.

Notice how you are becoming more by taking this time,

Not less.

Honor your call to rest.

If only for this moment,

Notice the radiance you have gained.

You are doing well taking great care to nurture your soul.

Allow yourself the gift of complete surrender.

And honor your call to rest.

As our practice comes to a close,

Keep your eyes close.

Be in this space for a moment longer.

Start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.

And soak up this energy that is around you.

You should always come out of meditation slowly and mindfully as this is still nourishment for your body.

When you're ready,

You can go ahead and open your eyes with a downward gaze and take a moment to thank yourself for taking time for you today.

Namaste.
