Letting go is part of your restoration.
Part of your journey to be your best self.
There is a center in the body where love and spirit are joined.
Your heart center.
It takes courage to go inward.
It is that space where your heart aches or fills with love.
That space can seem empty or overflowing.
It is in that space where you feel trust and kindness and gratitude.
The awareness of the heart center in itself reveals a feeling of truth and harmony.
The connection is divine.
The connection is freedom.
In this meditation you will travel to that heart center of yours and cleanse the doors of perception.
So you may dance in the light.
So allow yourself to get comfortable sitting up or lying down.
Whatever works best for you.
Your practice will include a heart centered breath,
Self-inquiry,
And self-love.
Begin by taking some slow long deep breaths.
Inhaling slowly and deeply in and out through your nose.
If your eyes are still open go ahead and close or cap them now.
Just simply follow this gentle inhale and gentle exhale.
Allow yourself to take some deep breaths in this moment.
Allow your breath to pull you down into your body.
Find a place of refuge in that beautiful heart of yours.
Take one more slow long deep breath and release.
Now allowing your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Receiving this stillness as nourishment to your body,
Your mind,
And your heart.
Bring your attention to the rise and the fall of your chest.
Let your breath be steady.
You may be able to feel the coolness as the air goes in through your nose and the warmth as it releases out.
Bring your attention to the middle of your chest,
Your heart as a space,
A point of awareness.
Now see or imagine the center of your heart as a warm glowing light.
This light radiates from your heart center throughout your entire body.
It fills every single cell from the tips of your toes to the crown of your head.
This is the light of your awareness.
This is your loving awareness.
Honor the ease in which you are breathing right now.
Step into this space,
The warmth,
You,
Your heart,
Your soul.
There is nothing you are in need of right now.
Simply be in this moment.
Feel the love that you want to give yourself.
Letting go is part of your restoration.
Let go of the pain.
Let go of any cycle or pattern that has defined you.
Let go of the fear as it no longer serves you.
Step into the warmth that love embodies and let it envelop you.
You are filled with love on every in-breath and every out-breath.
Your breath is you and you are your breath,
The breath of love.
It is your life force.
Your breath allows your mind and your heart to connect.
Feel your chest and stomach gently rise and fall with each breath.
Feel the warmth and continue to breathe in this loving awareness for a moment.
Notice your heartbeat.
Notice the tenderness you find here in this moment of surrender.
Feel the compassion and loving-kindness surrounding your body like a cocoon.
You are in a little pocket of peace.
Now ask yourself silently,
Who am I?
Who am I?
Ask yourself a few times and then return to the stillness.
Don't expect or make up an answer,
Just simply ask,
Who am I?
Now ask,
What is my heart's desire?
What is my heart's desire?
Let go of the questions and any answers you might have felt.
Simply connect back to the flow of love in this present moment.
Allow your fears to quiet.
Allow your body to soften.
Allow the walls around you to disappear.
Allow your heart space to awaken.
Rediscover the breath of love.
Your heart is calling you home.
Love is not what you gain but what you become.
Love is the essence of being.
Love is the place of transformation and love heals and makes you whole.
You are light and you are love.
You are love.
Allow your tears to water the seeds of growth beneath your feet.
Lean into the yearning you feel in the deepest part of your soul.
Allow you to be you.
In this moment,
We are going to call forth that divine love with the silent mantra,
Aham Prema.
I will mind the time as you repeat this phrase over and over.
Aham Prema.
Aham Prema.
If your mind has wandered,
Simply come back to the phrase,
Aham Prema.
Be kind in your mind.
Aham Prema.
Aham Prema.
Now allow that phrase to drift off into the distance.
Simply be in this space for a little longer.
Feel what you need to feel.
Know that letting go is part of your restoration.
Part of your journey to be your best self.
It is so important to connect with your heart center,
To create space,
And to feel the love that you want to give yourself.
As your practice comes to a close,
Take a moment to thank yourself for showing up today.
I am grateful for this moment with you.
Namaste.
