This is an improvised flute duet, recorded one summer day in August while Al Jewer and I were attending a flute conference in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We played all of the various types of flutes "live" together, and later I recorded the bird calls (on very tiny flutes and whistles), so we could add them into the mix. It is a quiet, peaceful reflection on nature, intended to invoke a sense of tranquility and calm, like a walk in the woods.
