This is the first song that came to me, as taught to me by my very first Native American flute, as I was sitting by a campfire. I played it at twilight, as the Evening Star (Venus) appeared in the sky, expressing gratitude for the day completed, and hope for the new day. The flute is based on a traditional Lakota style, and the first time the song was played on the radio, a listener wrote in to the station that it sounded just like a song her Lakota grandmother used to sing to her as a child.

Love native flute. Your music is heartfelt. Love the moon at night. I have taken more photos of moon than any. That drew me to listen to you . grateful. Ellen
