Hello,
And welcome to Joanna for Tato Therapy,
Slowing down and finding ground.
We tend to move so quickly through this world with so much coming at us.
It's important to remember to take a little time aside.
It doesn't have to be long,
But just to come to a slower pace,
A pace that's aligned with nature.
So I'll invite you to find a comfortable place and a comfortable position and begin by feeling your sit bones on the surface below you.
And if your feet are on the ground,
Notice how they're connected to the earth and begin to take some slow deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
I like to make a little sigh and open my mouth so that my jaw softens and I can really feel the downward pull in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Can I begin to focus on the exhale as though there is a weight that's just gently pulling me down?
An energy that flows from the top of my head to the tip of my toes.
See if the exhale can take a journey through your body and all the way down to the earth.
I want you to envision that the roots of trees grow from the base of your spine and the bottom of your feet.
As you exhale,
Envision that these roots begin to grow down through the many layers of your home or wherever you are,
Down through the earth's crust,
Sediment,
Water,
Rock.
Letting those roots stretch all the way down to the center of Mother Earth and her fiery lava core.
All the way down until they plug into the center of Mother Earth and begin to draw that red lava earth energy up through those roots,
Through the many layers of earth,
Up,
Up,
Up through your home and into the base of your feet and the base of your spine.
Breathing that ground earth energy in through your legs,
A red grounding,
Secure energy.
Let it move around your pelvic bowl,
The base of your spine and up into your torso,
Your heart,
Along your shoulders to your hands and all the way above your head so that your entire body is humming with earth energy.
Just like a red river that flows through your body in such a soft and still and grounded way,
Like a tree that just gently moves with the breeze but is fully anchored and still.
Let yourself feel that stillness with a gentle breeze that is your breath.
Letting yourself,
Your soul,
Your body,
Your mind be fed by the pace and the gentle rhythm of earth energy.
I'll invite you to stay in this connected earthly energy for as long as you need.
Even though I'm closing this session,
You are welcome to stay connected to earth and connected to a slower steady pace.
Thank you for listening to Joanna for tato therapy,
Slowing down and finding ground.
Go well knowing your inner wisdom.
