This practice supports feelings of unworthiness. First by attending to those wounds with loving compassion and care. And then by planting seeds of worthiness in ways that shift our embodied self and the truth that we have access to today.

Hello and welcome to Joanna for Tatto Therapy,

Inviting worthiness.

For many of us who grew up with shame as a parenting tool or who were bullied or spoken to in ways that shifted our self-esteem,

It can be hard to find a place of security even as an adult.

This practice is designed for you and for anyone that has struggled to feel worthy.

So I'd like to invite you to begin by finding a comfortable place and a comfortable position and allow yourself to take a few slow and deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Invite yourself to let go of what is before you and anything that you have to do after this practice and see if every breath can bring you into this moment.

Inhale and exhale,

Letting yourself release down and really come into union with your body.

Notice if there's a place where you feel into unworthiness.

For me it's at my heart center but for some of us it may be at the solar plexus,

The throat.

So take a moment to notice where any feelings of unworthiness may live in your body and take your hands there.

Before we begin to invite worthiness,

Let's show up for the parts that may be feeling unworthy.

Let's show up for the parts that may be holding old wounds and old hurt.

So I'm feeling into my hand that's here at my heart center and I'm inviting that my hand be like a loving blanket that is wrapped around this wound and that simply says,

I'm here for you.

I don't need you to go away or shift but I see you and I hear you and I'm showing up for you with unconditional love.

So just let yourself take a few breaths and see if you can breathe in the loving unconditional energy that you're meeting this part of yourself with in through the nose and as we exhale see if the energy can land there breathing in love ah breathing in acceptance and breathing in ease and just letting yourself be here with what is giving yourself the opportunity to take in the love that you need in the amount that you need for your greatest good and now I would like us to shift towards planting seeds of worthiness that we can reach towards as the people that we are today the truth that we know of today what I like to do is to do a little bit of body tapping where you just gently tap with your fingertips into any part of your body while speaking these words the idea is that we are inviting our bodies and our cells to get on board with that sentiment so I'd like to begin by stating that I am worthy because I was born and I'm tapping this into my heart perhaps into my head going to my belly and any other place on my body or all of the places that I can get to as I take in those words I am worthy because I was born it is my birthright to feel worthiness letting those words land it is my birthright to feel worthiness tapping into any part of my body or all of the parts of my body that I can get to with that phrase it is my birthright to feel worthiness I'd like to invite you to come up with your own statement that comes to mind the best thought that you can reach for right now I am worthy because breathe it in letting it land I am worthy because breathing it in and tapping it into any part of your body that feels right I am worthy because and finally concluding with I am worthy I am worthy I am worthy thank you this has been a recording by Joanna Furtado therapy inviting worthiness be well and go knowing your inner wisdom thank you
