This practice is intended to support inner connection, embodiment, and renewal of our own life force energy. Using deep healing breaths we are able to come into stillness, let go of tension, and fill our own cup.

Hello,

And welcome to Joanna Furtado therapy,

Aligning within wherever you find yourself today,

Know that you can take a little time to just merge with yourself and come into awareness of self into alignment with who you really are.

We can begin by finding a comfortable space and a comfortable position to start to go inward,

Moving away from that which is external,

Letting the day and what is to come just fade away.

I'll invite you to take a nice,

Deep and slow inhalation in through the nose and out through the mouth.

As you take these breaths,

You let go of anything before you and anything in the future.

And you come into alignment with this very moment.

Know that there is nothing that you need to attend to right now.

This is your time.

Let every breath feed you.

Ah,

Let every breath renew the life force energy that's there just under the surface.

Ah,

Release what doesn't serve you.

And inhale new light,

New energy,

Letting go of any tension.

In fact,

Taking the inhale and breathing into any space of tension in your body.

So take a moment before doing that and just scan your body from head all the way down to your toes.

And notice where you may be holding that tension.

Might also invite you to shift around a little in your seat just to release any parts that are held really tightly.

So we'll breathe deeply into those spaces.

Ah,

And invite that exhale to surrender those parts.

Ah,

How much can you let go into the space below you?

How much can you release into the ground?

Letting go,

Letting go.

And inhale,

Breathing all the way down to your toes and all the way top to the top of your head.

Just really breathing into all the spaces of you,

Really feeling yourself in space,

The space that you take up.

Let every breath be like a wave of healing water that gently runs over every cell.

Ah,

As though every breath reignites that spark of star energy that is your spirit,

Really.

Every breath makes that energy shine a little brighter.

And just let yourself give back to you.

We often give so much to those around us.

And just taking a little bit of time and a little bit of space to feed our spirits is so important.

And then we can go out and give to those who we love.

So I thank you for practicing this connection to self today.
