Hello and thank you for joining me.
If you haven't already,
Find a space where you can be comfortable.
Settle in.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze if that feels good to you.
Let's take a nice long inhale through the nose.
A full exhale with a sigh.
And again,
Inhale,
Exhale out with a sigh.
With your next inhalation,
Be aware of the air filling up your lungs.
On the exhalation,
Imagine the breath going all the way down your body and out through your toes.
Let's do that same breath.
Inhale,
Feel your lungs filling up.
Exhale all the way out through your toes.
Now just allow your breath to find a natural rhythm and let your body sink and melt into the surface beneath.
Allow yourself to be in this moment and just know that there's nothing else that needs to be done right now and this is where you are meant to be.
I would like for you now to either silently to yourself or with a soft whisper say the words,
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
As you continue to say these words,
Let the meaning of them seep into your core.
Whatever meaning they have for you,
Let it just fill you up with gratitude.
Continue a little longer with thank you,
Thank you.
When we take life one day at a time as it is presented to us,
It is much easier to be in the moment being thankful for all that we have,
Not being quite as caught up in the pressures or worries of life as a whole.
When we live our lives one day at a time,
It is easier to see the beauty,
To notice the positives,
Feel present.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
When you feel ready,
Slowly wiggle around,
Gently move your head from side to side.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take a nice deep inhale and a full exhale and a full exhale with a sigh.
Gently open your eyes.
Namaste.
