Okay,
So let's just take a moment.
You can close your eyes or just have them gaze down,
Taking some of those deeper breaths and allowing your attention to move out of the thinking mind and into the body.
So even though this is a we're going to invite you into a reflection,
Seeing if that reflection can come from the body.
Emerge from the felt sense and not a thinking or ruminating.
So the question is like dropping.
I imagine it sometimes like you drop a pebble into a well,
Dropping it into your body.
What is your motivation for your practice?
Why do you practice?
Why do you want to practice?
What is your motivation?
Just seeing what bubbles up from this embodied awareness.
And then even deeper,
Is there any motivation even deeper than that?
And letting yourself just say yes to all of them,
Whatever arises.
What is my deepest motivation for practice?
Why do I practice?
Why would I want to commit to months and thousands of repetitions?
Okay,
So taking that whatever's risen,
Whatever's coming to mind,
Just going to invite you either to do the journaling or reflecting a little bit more on these questions.
So what is your motivation for practice?
What practice or practices do you feel called to deepen?
And then if you don't already have the habit of a morning practice,
What's getting in the way,
What might get in the way,
And how can you prepare for that to stick to your commitment?
