Self-compassion break and so just taking a moment,
Pausing,
Reflecting,
Just recognizing what is happening in this moment.
Just whatever is presenting itself right now,
Just noticing.
And then saying to ourselves,
This is a moment of suffering.
And you may find it helpful to put your hand over the heart as you recognize this suffering.
Just finding our own way just to really acknowledge and be with whatever difficulty is arising for us right now.
And perhaps feeling the warmth of our hands as a response to our own suffering.
And then we can begin to consider that suffering is part of the human condition and we're not alone in this at all.
Others also have difficulties similar to what I'm experiencing right now.
Suffering is part of the human condition.

And notice how it feels to repeat that phrase once again.
