A nice short practice to just sit and contemplate a diffult moment and how then to direct your attention towards others and respond in a kinder way towards ourselves. It is nice to just allow ourseelves to recognise we are having a difficult time and yet we can hold it and then respond with kindness and more beneficial actions. Once you have learnt the routine you may find that the response starts to kick in as a trait in normal daily life.
