Relaxation - Balancing With Light

This meditation begins with the visual of a tree lined clearing. We are focused on breathing deeply and slowly as the images of this place come into the mind. The sun moves into our bodies through the crown chakra and cleanses us moving through each chakra slowly and methodically. At the end of the meditation the light releases into the earth. We are left relaxed and peaceful. This meditation is ideal for relaxation prior to sleep.

Hi,

Welcome to my daily meditation.

My name is Jill and I do a daily broadcast live on Periscope and I place the audio here for download.

Today I did a chakra balancer and I did a little bit differently than I would I would normally do and in this one you know take you to grassy glen and surrounded by trees and I really have you feeling the Sun.

So we get to a really nice relaxed place and that Sun as we all so often feel moving its warmth into our body through the top of our head and then it moves down really opens and clears the chakras.

When we do this,

This one,

I talk about some of the things that we layer on ourselves.

I talk about some of the things that we tell ourselves,

Things that we hold back from saying,

Things that hurts that have pained our heart,

Labels that we place on ourselves and as we're moving through the chakras I talk about these things as a way of release so we can bring those up and let them go and breathe through them.

But I liked it.

I thought it was a really nice way of balancing and calming.

It was very calm meditation today.

So I hope you enjoy it and as always I hope it brings you wholeness.

Take a nice deep breath in all the way down to the belly and slowly exhale.

Nice deep breath in,

Slowly exhale.

Last one,

Deep breath in and slowly exhale.

Go ahead and regulate your breath,

Just allowing you to flow nice and even through the body.

Finding that rhythm,

Going deeper into that relaxed state.

Release any tension in your shoulders.

Feel that relaxation go across your shoulders and down your arms,

All the way to the tips of your fingers.

Maybe you're resting your hands on your legs or your knees.

Just allow your bones to support your body.

Let those muscles go slack.

Keep that breath flowing down in the belly,

Staying nice and relaxed.

As that breath flows in and out of your lungs,

I want you to hear the sound in your ears,

That soft and gentle rhythm.

Just like the ocean waves,

That wave comes in,

The breath comes in,

And the wave goes out,

The breath goes out.

Those thoughts that are running in your mind just get put aside while you're focused on your breath,

Relaxation in your body.

I want you to see yourself in a kind of a grassy glen.

If you look out to the sides you'll see trees surrounding you,

The sun high overhead,

Grass under your feet.

It's the most perfect day.

The wind moves over your skin and the birds are on the wind.

You're standing in this glen.

You can feel your feet on the ground.

Perhaps the grass is high up around you and you can feel it with your fingertips.

You raise your face up to the sky,

Feeling the sun warm you.

The breath flowing through your body,

You feel absolutely alive.

As your face is up to the sky,

You'll see this beautiful light hovering just above you.

As if you've captured the sun,

Beautiful golden light.

I'm going to have you grab a hold of it with your hands and pull it into the top of your head,

Into your crown chakra.

As you do,

This light begins to merge with your own.

Merge you with the crown,

That energy center that connects us to the divine.

Blending and blurring and expanding open.

As if the light is absorbing anything that we've collected and no longer serves us.

As if by gravity,

The light continues to move down,

Finding our third eye in the center of our forehead,

Spiraling open,

That third eye expanding it,

Merging together this beautiful light with our own.

We continue pulling that light down into the throat chakra.

Merging,

Feeling that light expand out and absorbing with it all the things that we can't say,

We just hold in harsh words that just sit on our throats.

Clearing it out and starting fresh.

Feeling that throat nice and open.

Maybe we feel tears roll down our face so that we can express what we need to express and just release,

Allowing that light to wash over us.

Continue moving that light down into the heart center.

Center of our beingness.

Moving this light through our heart,

Watching this light with our own spiral together,

Expand open.

Feeling that light carry away any of our hurts or stress,

Our broken heart mending,

Healing,

Feeling the warmth of that light move through our bodies.

Now feel that light move down into the solar plexus,

Into our bellies,

Taking away any of the judgments we have in ourselves.

All the counts that we layer,

Reasons why we can't do something.

Feel that light merging with our solar plexus and absorbing these thoughts,

All these thoughts that we attach to ourselves that don't serve us.

Refreshing and renewing our views,

Allowing us to focus forward.

Just feeling that light circle in the body,

Take all that's unwanted with it.

Feel that light continue to pull down into the sacral,

Into the seat of the pelvis,

Merging and expanding with our own.

Feeling that light pull at the feelings that we have about ourselves,

The unhealthy feelings,

Those feelings that prohibit us from really loving ourselves.

Any guilt or frustration we have,

Allow the light to just absorb that.

Pull it down.

Finally moving down into the root,

The base of the spine,

Feeling this light merge with your own.

Expand open,

Letting the light take away any labels that we have in ourselves or that others place there.

Bringing you back to wholeness,

Allowing you to see yourself for who you really are,

This true being of light.

Allow this light to continue to move down your legs,

Making you stronger and more sure on your feet,

So that light gets all the way to the base of your souls and moves down into the earth.

Being very present in this place,

Feeling your face,

Feeling the sun on your skin,

Your hands outstretched in front of you.

Look at your body with new appreciation,

Very present with yourself,

Appreciative of this beautiful vehicle that lets you live and express and love and give hugs.

Birth children create.

Let me give you a few moments by yourself.

I'll call you back when it's time.

You want you to bring your hands to heart center,

Take a nice deep breath in,

Slowly exhale.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes and come back.

Hi Jill, I really liked this meditation. I liked your slightly husky partially hypnotic voice. I loved the image on the meditation. and I love the images in the meditation going down the tree roots in the ground up the tree. The chakras had lots of positive messages down the tree again. I found it a very relaxing and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the singing bowl. I find them very distracting. I will definitely listen to this one again! Thank you very much.
